Bro is cooking
As mentioned before, as much as I loved my mutant alpha skutlass, a water pal I couldn't ride just didn't work for my go-to team comp. And so, I figured it would be easy enough to breed her. And lucky enough I got a Lucky Gobfin Ignis when I went out to grab one.
Pal biology is confusing
Soon I had an alpha skutlass ignis with all the good passives and stats of their parents. They also gave me a mutant egg which doubled when I picked it up, and I got two wistella!
lets water with mama (actually their sibling, another baby)
Lass has passed the baton to their offspring and retired from my team to become a great expedition leader.
As mentioned before I got another alpha skutlass from a mutant egg. And so it was time for breeding with a very special goal in mind...
0 mutant eggs and this was the second batch, thanks for wasting my vegetable cake! But ah well, not the point here...
Maybe you know which pal I'm going for now, but first we have to do a little sex change. Onto the surgery table you go...
Finally, at least you guys gave me results. Seems that egg zapped the health of the others though, they're all so small. But nothing a broncherry won't fix.
Skutlass was sleeping outside of the breeding farm, can't blame her...
And at last, the fruits of my labor:
He is perfect. I didn't even fully know what he looked like, I just saw his little icon in the breeding calculator and had to have him. Though I might change Wellness Watcher and even Ranch Master since he won't be a working pal, we'll see.
When he follows you he rolls in his shell, I can't handle how cute he is.
He was born with lightening strike which is hella strong, the lake's azurobes were the unfortunate test subjects.
Looking forward to adventuring with this lil guy!
As for the mutant egg it was just a ragnahawk which I already had, but had some great passives of course. Maybe will be part of my next breeding endeavor...
almost feel bad wailing on these guys killing them in a few hits with fish fillet but it's also amazing
tried my first go at breeding attempting to make a perfect celaray lux worker and I already got my first mutant egg!
An Alpha Skutlass, she's so cool I wanted this pal since seeing it in the promo. But I wish she were an ignis, doesn't feel very practical to use a water pal I can't ride... but whatever I don't care she's too cool to not use!! I've already accidentally killed her using fish fillet twice though haha...
(not Elphidran's egg she's just there for emotional support)
"抜刀 - Unsheathing / Drawing the blade
すぐに戻らないと 死ぬ - It will die if it doesn't return immediately
This creature's body functions as a living sword. When it "unsheathes" to attack, its main body (the blade) separates from its head (the scabbard). However, this state is extremely dangerous, and it must reunite immediately to survive. It adopts an incredibly reckless, all-or-nothing attack style"
This is the fish blade creature in normal form and attack form that revealed as one of the concept arts in Palworld version 1.0 trailer after two years in Early Access. 🐟
After releasing version 1.0 on July 10th, its name was revealed to be "Skutlass".
