With the recent Days of Summer Lights event have come many changes to the Forgotten Ark's spell shop. As my previous guide is now outdated, I'm making a new one to reflect these changes
There are 3 types of spells you can purchase from the Ark, each with its own separate area: scrolls, located in the leftmost portion with the memory cubes; spells, located in the central portion with the six glowing orbs; and potions, located atop the rightmost portion with the cauldron
All spells with a ☆ next to them are only available for purchase on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Additionally, each spell can only be crafted once a day
Almost all item-based spells will deactivate once you leave their special menus, so be careful. All size-changing potions, with the exception of the resize potions, last for 10 minutes
Scrolls
Rainbow ☆ – 3 for 9 ascended candles
Allows you to spawn a rainbow somewhere in Sky. The rainbow will disappear in time
Paper Boat – 3 for 6 regular candles
Allows you to place a paper boat message in any body of water. You can gain a heart from this message, much like the message candles left at the various shrines around Sky. It seems that boats do not count as message candles in terms of the overall effect, meaning you can gain 2 hearts from leaving both a message candle and a boat, but I have no definite confirmation of this
Swing Set ☆ – 2 for 8 regular hearts
Allows you to spawn a Days of Love swing set, which functions like a chat bench and allows 2 people to talk. You can also swing on it!
Bonfire ☆ – 2 for 10 ascended candles
Allows you to spawn a bonfire, which functions like a chat bench and allows 4 people to talk once the fire in the center has been lit. This fire can also recharge any players who stand near it
Fireworks – 2 for 5 regular candles
Allows you to set off fireworks, up to 5 at a time
Chat Table – 2 for 12 regular candles
Allows you to spawn a chat table, which functions like a chat bench and allows 4 people to talk
Spells
Anti-gravity – 2 for 5 regular candles
Lessens the pull of gravity on your sky kid, allowing you to jump farther and fly higher with a single wing flap. This spell can also affect your nearby friends
Lantern ☆ – 2 for 10 ascended candles
Gives you (and any friends holding your hands) a lantern with 2 modes: regular and bullseye. Regular casts light evenly around your sky kid in a much wider, brighter radius than your own candle, while bullseye functions like a flashlight and sends out a long cone of light
Glow – 2 for 5 regular candles
Makes your sky kid glow, making this a cheaper and more readily available version of the lantern. However, the glow is somewhat bad at lighting up surroundings, and has less range than the lantern
Fast Recharge – 2 for 5 regular candles
Allows your flight power to recharge faster, but only when exposed to something that could charge you in the first place, such as a lantern or a nearby friend. Best used when playing with friends. This spell can also affect your nearby friends
Potions
Grow ☆ – 2 for 5 regular candles
Allows your sky kid to increase in height for 10 minutes. This effect can stack with the huge and tiny spells, but not the shrink spell (or the shrink mask)
Tiny ☆ – 2 for 10 regular candles
Allows your sky kid to decrease in height for 10 minutes. This effect can stack with the grow and shrink spells, but not the huge spell
Shrink ☆ – 2 for 5 regular candles
Allows your sky kid to decrease in height for 10 minutes. This effect can stack with the tiny and huge spells, but not the grow spell. A permanent version of this effect can be achieved by wearing the shrink mask, often called the chibi mask, which can be bought from the Hide'n'Seek Pioneer for 20 hearts
Instant Recharge ☆ – 1 for 1 ascended candle
Instantly recharges your flight energy to full, making it handy when playing solo in an area with few ways to recharge normally
Huge ☆ – 2 for 10 regular candles
Allows your sky kid to increase in height for 10 minutes. This effect can stack with the grow and shrink spells, but not the tiny spell
Resize – 3 for 10 ascended candles
When used, will randomly and permanently change your sky kid's height until the next time you use a resize potion. The tallest and shortest heights possible are not the same as those achieved with the grow and shrink spells, which remain the same for all players, and there are apparently 4000 possible heights within the game at the moment
Instant Recharge – 2 for 5 regular candles
Instantly recharges your flight energy to full, making it handy when playing solo in an area with few ways to recharge normally

Some older players will note that all of the height-changing spells have been moved over to the potions shop, likely to keep things more consistent. Regarding these spells, using both a huge and grow spell will allow you to achieve the current tallest height, while combining shrink and tiny will give you the current shortest height. The heights bestowed by shrink and grow are the same for all players, regardless of their current height
