alternate ending to The Two Embers

I know most of the Sky community (skybrl too) thinks that Hopeful Steward = Dusk Ember because of the same hairstyle, similar clothes and even the final scene from the last episode (spoilers, go under the cut if you have watched all The Two Embers already! If you haven't, save this post for when you'll have watched the series unless you want spoilers!!)

So, as I was saying. Similar hairstyle and clothing, but also this scene.

I mean, the color scheme and the way the shades meet, they remind us of the scarf and head accessory of the Steward.

But there's also a little detail that makes me think that Stewie and Dusk are the same.

The personality.

Like??? Dusk Ember is this you??? Because you were pretty determined to kill the King ("stubborn and strong-willed, doesn't back down easily"). Like, to commit regicide.

And the "being patient and wise beyong their years"?? Present trait got from the past due to what they had to face. And we all know what they had to face.

i don’t think many newer sky players really understand how great it is that sky tte is finally coming out soon.

for most of sky’s existence, the lore has been mostly up to player interpretation, due to the fact that it’s unclear and mostly comes from clues in the game and old tgc concept art.

and the fact that we’re finally getting actual sky lore is great. the eden king wasn’t even pictured in the game (outside of symbols in structures and the prophecy season logo) until season of shattering and i’m pretty sure megabird isn’t even mentioned at all in the entirety of the game, despite them both being very important to the lore.

i have a few theories about sky the two embers, although please don’t yell at me if i get info wrong since i don’t have all the details of the sky lore.

i think that the hopeful steward is definitely not the child being mentioned here. the hopeful steward (despite literally telling you to kill yourself lol) seems nice and from the trailers and lore that ive seen so far i dont think theyre becoming the eden king.

also according to this it’s set 500 years before the events of the game, which makes a lot of sense considering in the trailers golden wasteland is not a wasteland.

and i’m pretty sure the part of the aurora concert where isle is covered in grass and flowers likely takes place around the same time.

it makes sense that several places in sky used to be full of life considering i’m 99% sure the biggest theme of sky is pollution

the aurora concert has quite a few parts you might expect to see in sky tte, like this part that showcases the war:

sky tte is very likely going to have a lot of themes of pollution, war and overuse of land. i expect to potentially see some corrupt political themes too because of the whole sky lore thing of the king being evil and causing the war

the parts of the trailers where the hopeful stewards manatee is covered in dark crystals and the fact that their manatee is not present in the game makes me think its going to die sometime in the show, especially considering the wiki says it’s going to get pretty dark in the latter half of the show.

also i expect that the eden king might be killed, he is not present in the game outside of a shattering memory and the person that you hug in the pity room.

there is definitely going to be a lot of death and potentially violence in the show considering how almost every character is dead in sky cotl. most of them probably died in the war

i also really wonder when or if orbit will be showcased. i hope there’s an explanation on why you end up there. i also hope for more krill lore

i’m really excited to see sky tte. ive been waiting for the lore to be easier to find for years

I love Sky so much, so seeing it getting a animation is amazing! I am looking forward to this so much. Sky has changed my life, played it when it first came out (sadly that account is long gone because my tablet died. . . Got the game again about 3 years ago thanks to my phone and Switch now.)

I just love the lore, so seeing that they will tell about it through this is even better!
