A Message to Whoever Needs It

For those of you who have ever been told that God doesn't love you for ___ reason, I am so sorry you have been lied to. I am so sorry that someone who claimed to be a Christian lost sight of a very important tennant of Christianity and lied to you. The truth is that God loves everyone. Every man, woman, non binary human, child, straight, gay/lesbian, bi, pan, ace, aro, Jew, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Satanist, white, not white, and everyone else I didn't just mention explicitly, you are loved by God. Jesus died on the cross for every sinner, not just a very specific group of them. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." This is one of the most iconic Bible verses, and notice how it doesn't define who God loves. Okay, fine, it does, but the definition is THE WORLD. THE WHOLE FREAKING WORLD. LAST TIME I CHECKED, THAT INCLUDED EVERY HUMAN BEING ON THE PLANET. Not just the people who love Him. Everyone. That includes you, person who read this post. So, recap: you are loved by God no matter what. Even if you don't love Him. Don't ever let someone make you believe otherwise.

Who do you think is the prettiest character?

This is from ages ago; I wish I remembered what character this is referring to, because the only two series I can suppose is BIONICLE and MLP, and one is made up of robot characters, and the other are ponies, and I would have no idea how to determine the prettiest. If you had meant “overall,” I would have no idea how to answer, either, because there are so many pretty people out there that why should I choose one over the other? Plus there’s the matter of bias, the fact that I don’t actively think to myself “ah yes this is the prettiest person to ever walk the earth,” if you’ve got one gender in mind over the other (bc I realized partway through with writing this that I was thinking women but I’ve called men pretty before, so there’s that), etc.

This answer was way too long, inconclusive, and also you haven’t been active in like a year. Oops.

Fun fact: I got a compression fracture on a vertebrae when I was 7

Ouch!  I got bit by my otherwise angel of a hamster once bc I had food on my right pinky and I got nerve damage from it

Odd number artist asks, and number 30 please!

that’s a lot of asks my guy!! i got rid of the ones i already did.1. Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?definitely digital, purely because of the freedom for editing. i’ll always start drawing too close to the bottom of a page, or smudge something, and it’s basically a big ol mess.

3. How many classes have you taken?none! i’m DEEPLY uneducated5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?i... i really like girls, and i really like plants. as far as features, i really enjoy drawing hair.11. How many art-related blogs do you follow?a bunch!!! i’m not going to go through all the blogs i follow, but MOST, if not all, of the people i follow make or support illustrations. i have many wonderful artist mutuals.13. Do you prefer to keep your art personal, or do you like drawing things for other people?i live off of praise and getting big reactions so i REALLY like drawing stuff for other folks, but sometimes i need my me-time.15. How long does an average piece take you to complete?there’s literally no telling, time is an illusion and i’m never sure how long i take.17. Do you think you’re justified in giving other people art advice?god, absolutely not, who do i think i am? when i give advice i always feel like i’m doing more harm than good.19. What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?you guys, backgrounds and perspective is really hard. also glasses.21. Do you like to challenge yourself?YES! and no. i fall into a slump if i don’t feel like i’m getting better, but it’s so hard drawing stuff that you have no experience / muscle memory built up for.23. Do you draw more fanart, or more original art?recently i’ve been doing more original art, but when steven universe is actually airing i almost draw exclusively that. you’d mistake my blog for a su-art-only blog. 27. For digital artists: how many layers does a typical piece require?either under 5, or over 25, never anywhere inbetween.
