Vast Cadere & Representation:

Vast means a lot to me, they’re one of the major reasons I started using they/any pronouns and they helped me feel more comfortable in my height. So recently when we learnt that Vast would transition in the same way I did without ceasing to be nonbinary. (Vast is still nonbinary or as she says in Ep. 46 “not that I’m a girl, but not that I’m a boy either.”) It hit me hard in a very positive way.

I have unfortunately never met another enby like me, I’ve also not seen any examples of that in media.

It felt to me for so long that there were only two ways to be an AMAB enby. The AMAB enbies I met were either; not interested in physical transition or were so much more feminine than me. It felt like I was doing it wrong with how I was being nonbinary. I knew that was wrong and fake, but it settled into the deep down ugly parts of me.

So, when Heyhay stated that, after the events of Skybound, Vast would seek medical transition and hormones if possible, something in me broke in the most positive way. That’s what I’ve done/doing and Vast felt as feminine in personality as me.

Heyhay, without knowing, was saying you are okay, you are being nonbinary perfectly fine.

That’s what representation means, it’s someone going “I see you and your experiences and they are real and valid. You exist.”

Vast told me I exist.

This is why your post had me in tears at gone midnight Heyhay.

was there ever any artwork or design released for Atlas' "worthy" tattoo? been thinking about them recently, and there wasn't a design shown in the vod where it was mentioned iirc.?

There was! It's not in the "Worthy" episode, but instead it was revealed in "Different Beast", when Atlas killed Viviana! She'd wounded him and his clothes had ripped to the point where the tattoo was visible. This is what Vast saw when her breath caught and she called him by his name :)

What is one (or more) character traits you find consistent in all* of the characters you play?

Oh god

Okay so I unintentionally end up playing a hero archetype in every story I'm in.

Gyn was supposed to be a little guy.

Armor was supposed to be a little shit.

Draxas was supposed to be a bastard.

Epsilon.... Well now that's a spoiler now isn't it :)

Percy I think is the only one I intentionally set up with the hero archetype in mind LMAO

Maybe! I'd have to go through and put it all together, if that's something people would be interested in seeing. There's. A LOT.

How often do Rune and Vast have to come and coax their kingfisher out of the lakes and rivers of the new world?

There is no coaxing, they live there now :) I think Atlas probably insisted on living close to the riverbed or on the lakefront specifically so he could be a little shit and give in to his instincts, lol

What is a design choice you made for Atlas that you love?

I knew going into bound that I wanted a Weird Guy TM but it wasn't until I looked at kingfishers and then looked at five-lined skinks and went WOAH. THESE COLORS CAN WORK.

And they DID THEY WORK SO WELL
