Utena is. Woah boy. Very hard to explain without spoilers. This is the best I got. Its a love story. Its a story about how the patriarchy effects Literally Everything about people's lives. Its about how the nuclear family is inherently god awful. It's about people who people are Allowed to abuse. Its so much. I dont know how to even explain right now bc I Just woke up amd brain fog is atrocious.

I will say, trust the writers bc a lot will be confusing or Concerning at first. Theyre getting there. Also a lot of it is allegorical. Also please for the love of everything read the tws. This is a show about misogyny and anything and everything related to misogyny. Do NOT go in unprepared
