Home
She stood there Outside Looking in through frosted windows Inside a warm house, a pair of twins laughed together Identical eyes heads affectionately bumped with each other breaths synced to the other's heartbeat She stood there Cold. Shivering. Will she ever find a home in this unforgiving blizzard? Uncaring eyes Empty promises spoken with sugared tongues
She turned away
And walked aimlessly into the snow Home, she decided, would not be found here. Not in a house that has no more room for her.
Two pairs of identical eyes turned to her direction The blizzard blinded her to the open door and to the empty chair beside them
