is the vision vision-ing because at this point im not sure??? I think i'm happy with this but this ref does not realllyyy show the build i wanted for her properly?? she's meant to be built like a wrestler because i thought that'd be fun which is way clearer in the sketch I did for a proper piece of her I wanted to do here:

i truly am the inconsistent final boss

anyway i literally had no idea she was meant to be based off of an electic eel until last minute mb queen ur more of a pufferfish now

Stylized redesigns of the Magic Skylanders from Skylanders Spyro's adventure

I admit I took a little inspiration from @mightyart's take on Double Trouble. But I still have my own Lore in mind for these designs.

Spyro: When he was younger, his dragon colony was attacked by the petty earthen sorcerer "Gnasty Gnorc". Gnasty used a crystal petrification spell on the colony, but Spyro would soon learn he was a rare breed of magical dragon that was immune to most curses and capable of learning different breath spells much later on in his life. After becoming an accomplished hero in his own right and exploring the rest of Skylands with his best friend Sparx and new companion Cynder, the three would later meet Master Eon at the citadel of balance, where they would decide to become Skylanders. Spyro is a headstrong hero who likes to act as if nothing scares him... But deep down he's scared of failing those he cares about... Having always been saving people in need since he was ten, he often feels as if he's carrying the world on his wings.

Double Trouble is a guardian mask spirit created by the ancients themselves as a protector of the realm... Though he is one of the few to remain in Skylands. The ancients sent most of the other mask guardians to other corners of the universe, to protect other places. two of the most notable being Aku Aku and Uka Uka who were sent to guard a version of Earth. As a protector, Double Trouble was drawn to the Core of Balance and becoming a Skylander when he was awakened from a long slumber. He's extremely knowledgeable on long forgotten ancient languages, and often speaks in the language of the ancients themselves when he thinks out loud to himself.

Voodood's origin is mostly the same, only his tribe is called "The Bonesmiths" as they had an affinity for skulls and using bones to enchant their weaponry. The Axe reaver was forged from iron within their home mountain and enchanted with the bones of a powerful Electro dragon. In my au Orcs are a subspecies or breed of elf, though they have a respect and reverence for death that mirrors that of forest elves and their reverence for nature. I'm wanting to flesh out more of how Elven and Dragon breeds work at some point. Like making charts.

Wrecking ball's origin is unchanged too. I just wanted to make him more squishy and grub-like. He creates forcefields around himself to roll around in so I don't think he needs a shell or rougher skin.

weird ass whirlwind from skylanders design i did in school

whirlwind's one of my favourite skylanders like ever, but idk something abt the design was just a bit.. off? idk so i doodled this in ms paint for some reason :) might make it more polished at a nonexistant later date :>

A little redesign for the darkness, I don't really like how it looked so I made it more "edgy"

Manticore Tuff Luck bc the shape of her tail always reminded me of a scorpion stinger :)
