NEW PROFILE PIC AND THUS MY OBLIGATORY PERSONA POSTTT

yeah so the last 2 days i've been on a redraw GRIND for my OCs and I finally got around to my persona thing - they're meant to be a bug of some kind with the cape acting as wings but they look so much as an alien i'm letting them be both :]

I also wanna post my banner too because i did that shit irl with pens, pencils + 1 billion stickers from my sticker album - salmon stickers + croc were from etsy (got them for christmas but I don't remember which shops they're from :(( )

wow so fire!!! now I can move on to skylanders again lmaoooo (i did have a sketch prepped but I wanna do character interactions now...oh the woes of having so many thoughts)

stuck in the moral dilemma of wanting to take my shattered glass sound wave out on adventures but worried about breaking him

On one hand it would be very whimiscal and his laserbeak has unfortunately already mysteriously disappeared whilst I was at uni (never getting over this I'm still devastated) but on the other I worry if he even glimpses sunlight he'll start yellowing

my printer butchered the colours of the digital art piece but whatever man I'll cope - tumblr has also decided to make it a little blurry sigh

uni made me forget how much i love collage i missed doing this shit im glad im back home and have access to my supplies again :)

here's the digital render - i mucked about trying to add a funky little background but i think the actual physical piece i did is much better haha

i tried a different rendering style for her hair this time round because i wasn't super happy with it last time + i think it looks much better :]

So here is my another oc by the name of Heatstroke. He is a engineer fire boi and a Skylander who doesn't only know engineering skills but he got those sabotaging and escape artist skills as well. He is also Spitfire's best friend.

woke up in a cold sweat remembering that for people to attack ur ocs in artfight they need to actually like. know ur ocs (!!) so after watching one whole 10 min ibis paint rendering tips video i got to work rendering this sketch of Mindy!!

render vs og sketch!! I'm happy with them both but canvas flip truly does save lives I for sure think the proportions r better in the rendered thing

lmk any thoughts on the rendering!! I lowkey want to make it a bit louder but haven't figured out how to translate that part of my trad art to my digital :)
