Hey guys if you stream to Twitch, they just added this feature. Its to train Gen AI to your streams. Its under Settings -> Privacy and Security tab and all the way at the bottom.

YES ITS ON BY DEFAULT.

also be sure to double check that twitch actually keeps it off. I clicked off the tab and then when I went back it was on again.

As of TODAY Twitch has quietly added the Generative Ai Training model into your account without your permission.

For the time being it is TOGGLEABLE and you can TURN IT OFF!

However, we do not know if Twitch will force this to be on at all times like some other platforms, like X/Twitter, have previously done.

Regardless of IF YOU STREAM OR NOT you should TURN THIS "TRAINING FOR GENERATIVE AI" SETTING OFF IMMEDIATELY!

To do so you must go to: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/security

And then scroll all the way down near the bottom.

There you'll find the "Training for Generative Ai" setting, toggle it to OFF!

Be sure to keep sending messages to Twitch that you do NOT want this to exist.

And another reminder that if you do stream on Twitch, like I do, you should start preparing you and your audiences to migrate elsewhere ASAP.

*Pride Month in Skylands……a wonderful time of love, partying, and perseverance……yet all a certain Skylander felt on this month was a crushing shame…*

*Sprocket had locked herself in her workshop…all the lights off as she sits on the floor with her back on the workbench.…… Gearshift and Punk Shock had invited her to a large Pride Festival being held at Metallana…But Sprocket gave the weak excuse that she had to change the treads on her tank……in actuality, she was guilt-driven. Goldlings were never known for accepting queer people. Often using their riches to halt parades or launch protests against them... and her mother and father were no different. She still remembered her parents dragging her to a protest where they threw tomatoes and rocks at people taking part in a Pride Parade. Everytime she thought about going. She just kept thinking about those memories…there's no chance a Goldling should walk into a celebration of queer people……not after everything that Goldlings have done.*

Idea i had for your custom elements

Feast spell punks should have the cannon undead's ability to make monsters grow

Their would definitely need to be a sorta miniboss that's just an already big enemie that's been enhanced

Dream spell punks have the ability to brain wash your skylanders which is represented by inverting your controls

Actually before I forget this Ask as well

I actually did have some old ideas for cloak colors and Spell punk abilities for the au. Feast and Dream included. Spell punk are either support types or attack types.

Support:

Life (Green with gold trim): heals allies.

Undead (Black with white trim): Revives enemies you defeat in their area.

Air (Sky blue with white trim): makes allies immune to projectile attacks.

Earth (Brown with gold trim): makes allies immune to melee damage.

Magic (Purple with gold trim): Turns allies invisible.

Feast: (Pink with white trim): Increases speed and attack rates of allies via Sugar Rush.

Attack:

Fire (Red with Gold trim): Creates a wall of fire to block your path, before pushing it at you.

Water (Deep blue with white trim): Creates puddles that freeze you when stepped on.

Tech (Orange with white trim): Summons two bombs that try to chase you.

Light (White with Gold trim): Summons massive solar laser beams from above.

Dark (Indigo with Gold trim): Summons a black hole vortex to pull you in and deal damage.

Dream (Turquoise with White trim): Creates waves of mist you must jump over to avoid. Puts skylanders to sleep when hit by it.

Ideas for the Dream and Feast elements

My thought process for the Dream element was basically "Dream -> Mind -> Telepathy -> Sci Fi" and with the art of the first two Dream skylanders you showed i think it's a goodbwas to distinguish itself from magic

Skylanders of this element would consist of mutants, aliens, cyborgs and espers. Their would also be a subcategory of what I call "dream jobs" like space adventurer, time traveling musician, pirate but specifically from the treasure planet movie.

I think Faeat skylanders would have a very similar vibe to the fairy type from pokemon, most of them would have a very "cutesy" or "innocent" ascetic but since "food" is such a broad subject theirs definitely a few interesting places you could take it, a few ideas i had

Living soup inside a witches cauldron, the giant could be one of those elaborate wedding cakes, icecream snowman, and finally living gelatin that basically turns any level into a pinball game

Oooooo yeah these ideas are fun

But if you want to know something really messed up. One of my ideas for Feast was that it involved food that wasn't usually found in nature or a garden. So beyond cutesy stuff like candy and baked treats... it also in loved stuff like Pizza or meat. And in fact the Giant would have been based on the Giant pig from Norae mythology that gets cooked over and over again. Essentially I was wanting to lean into both the cute snd horrific side of feast. Given Cannibal Chickens exist in canon skylanders (Look at you, Captain Cluck!)

Dream has so much potential for creativity... but that's when I realized the Eternal Magic source is the center of creation in Skylands. And a discord server I'm in actually has a Headcanon that the Eternal Magic source is where "Mind Magic" comes from.

I still low key think Feast is the element I'm more attached to between the two. I've just... always struggled so hard to find it's opposite. And find one that doesn't shift or shake up the established roster too much. If that makes sense.

Tldw; there is majority support in the European Parliament for a bill that would cover most of SKG's issues, and if passed this would bypass the decision of the Commission. There are also ongoing lawsuits in France and other places that would likely lead to some legislation. There is also a bill being worked on in California that wouldn't stop current games from being killed, but would stop future games from being killed

Where you add the Eternal sources for your new elements in the game?

Unfortunately it's been a while... and I'm afraid I may just Drop Feast and Dream for the time being. Since both are already covered by other elements. Most notably Magic.

I'd love to make more elements possible. But admittedly I've blanked on ideas and I flip flop a lot on stuff.
