Dark father-son relationship with Panderghast and Spitfire-

Basically, in my au Panderghast captured a young, orphaned Spitfire and low-key forced the kid to work for him, promising Spitfire love and fame, but only gives him the latter. Spitfire believed him anyway, allowing Panderghast to control every aspect of his life because he wanted to feel safe.

Panderghast told Spitfire who to date and when to break up with her(for it was always a her), when to eat and sleep(how Panderghast delighted in the fact that Spitfire only needed car fuels to live), and when he was allowed to go outside.

Panderghast told everyone that Spitfire was two years older than his actual age so that he wouldn't get in trouble for putting a teenager on a race track, he even tried to get Spitfire's uterus removed when he found out he was intersexual(didn't happen because the guy he hired to do it had actual empathy, but was still terrifying for Spitfire).

He even tried to abandon Spitfire after his racing accident, and only came back to him because Spitfire joined the skylanders.

The flame spirit is safer now, but he's not entirely free from Panderghast's cage yet.

I just realized Spitfire looks great in this picture.

-In the comic he appears in, he's overshadowed by Stormblade and Nightfall, and in Rings of Heroes.

-He doesn't have his own comic, while the Superchargers do.

-They just relegate him to being a boring, uncharismatic leader (in the comics and in Rings of Heroes).

-People claim to be fans of him, but there's hardly any fan art of him.

-He's supposed to be one of the faces of the franchise, yet his teammates get more fan art than he does.

-When people talk about him, they only talk about him negatively.

Even the mini Skylanders have more comics and more personality than him. Just say you don't care, bro 😭😭😭
