“Oh yeah, definitely. I would be more than willing to help you out, sweetie.”
“Well I’m masturbating on the beach, and lots of other guys are looking like they want to help, you’d better hurry.”

One of the things Della hated about her job was the ridiculous phone calls she had to answer. Why did people always have the dumbest questions? Were they really that stupid or did they just do this to bug the hell out of her? Whatever the reason she wanted to snap at them or hang up but she knew she couldn’t do either. Not if she wanted to keep their business. “Yes we can accommodate your group of twelve. No we don’t serve peanuts on the boat. No you don’t have to bring your own life jacket.” She rolled her eyes, biting her tongue so she wouldn’t snap. Finally she hang up and looked at her employee. “I’m never answering that phone again!” She jokingly declared. @skylar-adderley

TJ had taken to just wandering aimlessly through Manhasset-- she had accumulated a bunch of sick days at the hospital and was content to cash them in until they demanded she come back-- since there wasn’t all that much to do in her hometown as a basically unemployed adult. She finally chose to mess around at the public library, since she could probably check out a Bluray or two if nothing else. She liked to think it was fate that she spied Skylar at a distance as she perused the stacks of new releases. Any time she had a reason to link up with one of her old friends and maybe convince them not to leave her again had TJ feeling a flutter of excited hope in the pit of her stomach. But that felt a bit dramatic, so as she flopped unceremoniously into the seat next to Skylar’s she asked, “Hey there, hot stuff. Come here often?”
“Khristo-- try to give us a little space, yeah? Doors open out.”
Tori was a notorious wanderer, it was true. But no matter where she drifted off to, she was always able to find her way home -- and being a bit of a hard-ass at times, she typically refused help in the way of directions. As a native Bostonian, she felt she should well know her way around without somebody else trying to assist her, but for once she found herself lost. Surrounded by nothing by elms and oaks, she looked around awkwardly. Was the city back that way.. or that way? Wait, that way? She was clearly confused.
