hi!! first, disclaimer- I do not at all mean for this question to be rude. I’m just curious. Why does your Skyrim DRself use they/them pronouns when you use she/her? I’m nonbinary and use they/them, and I don’t find it offensive or anything, I’m just a little confused. No need to answer if you don’t want to!!
Hello nonbinary friend!! Not a problem! I understand it might seem weird. (Answer is kinda long sorry lol)
People shift for a lot of reasons! For me, shifting is a way to temporarily escape this life and go out and adventure and explore and just have fun! And most of the time for me, my DRselves are old characters that’s I’ve already created! I used to write fiction novels a lot in my free time so I have a bunch of random original characters just vibing in my brain.
Kyler was a character I had thought for like a year ago during one of my Skyrim play throughs but at the time I didn’t know about shifting so didn’t think too much of it
Once I learned about shifting I was like OH HELL YEAH!! And it just so happened that Kyler was non-binary in my head, so I decided to keep it!
As an important side note: I 100% understand me shifting to be someone non-binary DOES NOT MEAN I get to speak over non-binary people in this reality. In this reality I am cis-female and go by she/her and will never fully understand the harassment and difficulties non-binary people experience. I’m trying to be as respectful as possible and do not want to step on anyone’s toes or make them feel weird.
