Day 29: HERO MODE! Too hard or a well-needed challenge?

(Yeah, I'm doing this today, too)

I wouldn't say well-needed, because regular mode could be pretty tough itself, but it definitely was a satisfying challenge. The first few hours of the game were extremely tough (A Deku Baba almost killed me, and during the first fight with Ghirahim, I had a heart potion and a fairy and I still lost), but it made me think more about the battles instead of just hacking away. It also gave me great appreciation for the shields, because I hardly ever used them in regular mode. After a while, hero mode wasn't so difficult for me, and I even forgot that hearts would usually appear because I was used to not seeing them anymore (potions sure were helpful). Oh, and having your Skyward Strike charge so quickly was awesome! I think it was a great game, and I possibly enjoyed it more than my first game... Possibly.

I think that now if I play regular mode again, I'm going to find it extremely easy... But then again, after I play Kirby's Return to Dreamland, I'm going for Skyward Sword three-heart six-heart challenge... That will certainly be a challenge. >:D
