So, in light of Lila's lost bet - have you done any designs for Lila with short hair?
I definitely still need to practice her canon hair. I haven't quite gotten the head shape down when I have to deviate from reference photos.

I like how you gave Lila a chance. I mean, she's still very questionable, but at least she's not full-on evil. I like her friendship with Sabrina and - was it Alix? Is there a reason for that?
Full disclosure, I only gave Lila a break because having her as a secondary (third?) antagonist would've really bogged down the story and she'd be completely beyond unnecessary. Like, don't get me wrong, I love SL Lila and have a lot of fun with her as she's in the squad of characters who are Good but still allowed to be Kind of Mean (like Alix and Sabrina and kinda Nathaniel imo), but it's not because I think Canon Lila could be saved at this point.
Honestly, if Lila wasn't tied to "Volpina" and if "Volpina" wasn't a pivotal, status quo shaking (well it's MEANT to be that) episode, I probably wouldn't have included Lila at all. Hell, it would've been fun of me to finish Chloe's story with a huge teaser of Still Evil, Canon Lila moving to Paris late, implying she'd be taking Chloe's place.
Oh Ms.Zoe-Oneesama i want to know. How do you think the reaction between your Lila and canon!Lila. Since in Scarlet Lady AU obviously she have character development and totally have absorbed all of the sweetness that is being genuine friends with Marinette.
Since they are technically the same character, it would be war - they have the same intelligence, the same cunning, so SL Lila would be able to see exactly what Canon Lila is up to when she pulls any of her stunts. But SL Lila wouldn't counter with just calling her out, oh no, she'd top CLila to make HER look bad!

Not like Chat, though, he even went to the movies with Marinette and Sabrina says she saw him at the hotel restaurant, you know? Has anyone seen Ladybug just hanging out though...?"

Hi! I really love your comics and I think they're amazing! You're an amazing artist and an amazing story-teller. I'm just curious, but what is the relationship between Marinette and Lila going to be like? Are they going to become best friends, and if they are, will they hang out? Will she be a part of the girl squad and get a flower name? (I'm sorry if I'm getting into spoiler territory. I'm just really interested in how you're redeeming such a hated character.)
More like friendly classmates. While Marinette has no animosity towards Lila, she is BFFs with Alya who is still salty and close with Adrien who also hasn’t forgiven Lila since she stole his book and threw it away.
There will be some Girl Squad hangouts (because I want to include Ondine and Kagami more over time) and Lila will be invited, but we’re not doing the Flower Squad thing because I’m not doing Gigantitan and they’re not going to make elaborate plans to get Adrien alone.
Do you have an inspiration or reference for Lila's outfit in the header?
Volpina is probably the only one where I came up with a few outfits before I landed on what we got.
