Nathan stepped up to the stage at Five by Night, smiling drunkenly into the microphone. “This is for all of you,” he murmured and winked. It was one of his favorite ‘90′s songs: Heart-Shaped Box by Nirvana. It was a good song for his voice, and he sang it pretty well, and gave quite the performance, a smirk on his face. He could sing---but he didn’t sing seriously for just anyone. Except tonight, of course, when he was four drinks in and feeling good. Ready to participate in any and all activities. At the end of the song, the microphone echoed a squealing noise as he nearly dropped it before bringing it to his mouth. “I just wanna say something, here, listen to me,” he said a bit drunkenly, mouth turned into a grin, “--this is the deal: you’re all really cool people, and you look awesome. So party it up!” he finished his mini-speech and collapsed back into a chair to allow the next karaoke duel to begin.

“Fuck! I haven’t heard this in soooo long!” Billie all but screamed into the crowded club, jumping and gyrating to the music. She held her Armageddon cocktail in one hand — balancing it badly, shimmying this way and that in the crowd. She bumped one person, then a second, nearly spilling her drink on them. “Fuck. Sorry.” But not really sorry. No cares, really.
@BroYoda: apologies if anyone saw that 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bobbie was not a person to go to any kind of parties, but he was a man who had to go and do grocery shopping. Sure, he could’ve done that earlier that day and not in the evening when the shop is about to close, but his day rhythm was wonky anyway. But now that he was out and about at this late hour there were a lot of people in costumes and 90′s themed clothes. Which only made the beanstalk of a man shake his head. “The 90′s never was a cool thing”, he muttered under his breath, not even realising there was someone standing right next to him.
WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Step right up ladies and gentlemen, and try your hand at our Wheel of Fortune! Will you get the prize that you’ve been eyeing all night? Or will lady luck not be on your side tonight? Come test how lucky you feel, but be warned, the wheel is not always your friend…
OOC: Here’s another fun little mini-event we’ve whipped up for you all, consisting of a wheel (much like this one) that characters can spin. The outcomes will either be prizes to win or events that will happen to your character, both good and bad!!
RULES:
If you would like to participate, either like this post or drop the names of your characters (if you have more than one) that you want to spin the wheel on behalf of!
We will spin the wheel (completely randomized), and drop the outcome on @silverlakeinspo.
It is optional, but we would love to see you incorporate these into your threads, starters, or anything else you wish! You can even write up drabbles or self paras, make an #slsocial post about it — whatever you wish!
If your character lands an unfortunate event, do not worry, the outcome won’t be too disastrous and most likely won’t land your character in hospital. In fact, a lot of these outcomes are open ended, so ultimately, you get to decide the fate of your character!

Cora was dressed in a plaid skirt, an Alice and Chains T-shirt, and fishnet stockings with her Doc Martens. She just threw together whatever 90′s stuff she had around the house and called it good. One of those chill songs were on so she just bobbed her head to it: Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden. She took this opportunity to find her way back to the bar and try the ten glowing test tube shots. “I love how it’s 3 in the morning and the crowd’s barely even dying out yet,” Cora commented to the person sitting next to her. An hour ago, she’d put two colorful pieces of thin paper on her tongue and the drug was beginning to set in. For some reason, she was focused on this person beside her, her pupils very dilated. “You look so familiar... Do we know each other?” she yelled over the music thumping in the club, feeling it in her chest. In the erratic lights of the club, and the melting and waving colors, she could be looking at her best friend and wonder who they were really.
