George van den Broeck, the swooning lo-fi soul talent you probably know as Yellow Days, follows up on the success of his last single ‘How Can I Love You?’ with a brand new mellow grooving jam named ‘What’s It All For?’, out now on Columbia Records. We can never get enough of George’s wonky, foggy, and dreamy soul, so we welcome this new addition with glee. Following on his recent sold-out UK and European tour, which culminated with a night at London’s Electric Brixton last month, he dazzles us with another lilting, atmospheric record as we look ahead to a sure to be another huge year for him in 2019. He also just closed his fourteen date sold out tour here in the US, which included a return to SF earlier this month at Slim’s. ‘What’s It All For?’ is an inebriating, swanky dose of Yellow Days’ funk-imbued slacker soul, which drapes over us with that signature relaxed fit and loose caress.
