One time, my friend, Eveline, were at the StarKid Slamaganza, and we were talking to Denise Donovan.

Now, we went to the STARSHIP screening, and Denise kept talking about her mom and said "haha I talk about my mom a lot."

So at the Slamaganza, she brought up her mom, and Evie and I just bursted out laughing because we remembered the screening.

And Denise's reaction?

"Do you guys know my mom?..." 

What a silly, silly girl.

ugh I actually don't care about a SPACE dvd and would rather be getting a slamaganza dvd????

like. if I could share either of those experiences with a person who didn't get to go. I would pick slamaganza. it just seemed so much more like the true starkid experience because it was a STAGE SHOW and not a concert. also the audience screamed a lot less and I'm pretty sure the footage is better since they're familiar now with taping in the CoH. and like. idk it was just an all-around better experience for me than SPACE where people shouted over the nicer moments and a lot of jokes fell flat because people either couldn't hear the setup or couldn't hear the punchline.

is it terrible that I love being on tumblr with somebody while I'm in the same room as them?

like it's so fun and hilarious

to interact online but then still be able to observe each other's offline reactions

it's ideal for short-term trolling and it's insanely fun

but then I'm like "my idea of fun involves being in the same room with someone and being CAPABLE of interacting face-to-face but still CHOOSING to interact on the internet" and then I feel like some terrible technology addict who's losing touch with interpersonal IRL society

which lol fuck that because I'm Captain Extravert and that would never happen but still~
