Officials on April 1 began the massive undertaking of redetermining the eligibility of all 1.5 million people in Oregon who receive Medicaid

Officials are urging Oregon Health Plan members to respond to any information requests they receive and to submit renewal forms right away to ensure they don’t lose their benefits. 

Click-baity headline, but basically they're doing eligibility checks, so maybe sure you're contact info is up to date!

This is nationwide.

The Department of Health and Human Services estimates that 45% of the people who are disenrolled during the redetermination process will be people who remain eligible for coverage.

Don't assume your status. A lot of people have been surprised that they qualify.
