Added some digital painting to this 40k fanart illustration I drew up last year, inspired by a statement Games Workshop released telling the bigots clinging to the underbelly of their fanbase to fuck off.

Alrighty, so here is the beginning of one of my long-ass projects: Ni no Kuni fanart! For both the White Witch and Kingdom, I'm drawing the beasties I want to draw. For the familiars specifically, I wanted to do them pokemon-esque in the sense of they physically change and grow instead of what Ni no Kuni does, which is just pallet swaps and maybe add some details.
Being in quarantine got me in the mood and motivation to work on drawings that should have been done months ago. HOWEVER, I'm getting a Switch and Animal Crossing on my birthday, and I know I'm going to be addicted to it, so I'm trying my best to get some art done before I play it (spoiler: it's going to be all NNK).
Working working working today on a couple brand new #slamander species for Sunday’s creature release! This might be too obvious, but who knows what kind of real world reptile this guy is based on?? . #faerie #magicalcreatures #polymerclay #sculpture #gecko #workinprogress #artworkinprogress #sculpting #claywork #lizard #reptile #creature #fantasyart #supersculpey #fimo #bumpy #magical #wizard #newt #witchy https://www.instagram.com/p/BteEMJDBzf5/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=j07hgu4de2ut

Hi I was just wondering if you had any good resources for a type of mythical creature who could wield fire. European would be preferred (the character's Norwegian/German Jew), but whatever you could come up with would be fantastic! Thanks!!!
Hi! We realize we’re getting this to you extremely late and we apologize for that . Hopefully you’ve been able to come to a solution to you question on your own but in case there are some other people who might be interested, here’s what we’ve got.
The first thing that comes to mind of course is the European dragon. An exploration through the article on Wikipedia will give you more specifics although notable examples include the dragon in Beowulf and the dragon St. George fought.
Other creatures that might do the trick are the Salamander, the Ifrit, and the Phoenix.
Hope you find this helpful!
