“Cinematic universes got really fucking popular recently and have only slightly died down since the peak a few years ago. Before that, it was little stuff like spin-offs, fan service crossovers, and artist driven connections/easter eggs. Then suddenly, every action blockbuster wants to ignite four to nine other movies to accompany them. Initially, I welcomed the early versions, for the most part; they were worth it for the novelty alone despite some duds. On paper, the idea of a shared fictional world is something I can get behind. As a kid, I was a fan of the Red Sonja flick, read superhero comics, and on the TV front, Xena will forever be the better antagonist in her respected universe. However, after Disney's MCU success, a grip of BIG studios (including Disney) announced new connected universes based around existing IPs. Despite the unwarranted enthusiasm at the time, none of these would arise outside of a couple of false starts. In fact, after a few mangled projects forcefully grafted with lead-ins and name dropping (except Dracula Untold, I kind of liked that one--fight me), it became clear they didn't really want to have a spider-web of unique stories; they just wanted to sell five or six movies at a time. It was a disappointment at worst and tedious at best. Luckily (and it's often forgotten), Hollywood isn't the only player in the game, and as always, you can look to less mainstream sources for what you're missing--in this case, a chance at an interlocking series of narratives. For example, the Mycho Universe and its inaugural cross over Slasher House (2012)...”

Slasher House x f! reader
“y/n, could you come in here for a moment please.” usually when hannibal calls you by your first name, something’s up. you wasted no time and went to where he was.
“yes?” you say, as you feel your nerves rise out of fear. he looks at you, not with anger, but with concern. you raise ur eyebrow, confused. “what’s the matter doctor lector? did i so something wrong again?” you ask.
he squints his eyes at you, before slight shaking his head no. “i’m a little confused y/n. what is this?” he picks up a card with a piece of paper on it. “what is that?” you ask. he shows you a letter with your name as the title of it. your eyes widened at the paper, wondering who the hell wrote it.
“may i see it doctor?” he hands you the letter, before taking a seat in one of the chairs. you begin to open the letter, itching to see which bastard wrote it. no one’s ever wrote you a letter before, so this was different.
‘dear y/n, i hope this letter finds you well.
i’ve been admiring you for some months now, and took some time to get to know you personally.
your eyes, smile, laugh, personality, are a gift to me. i’d rather keep my identity private, so you won’t try and run from me. not like you can anyway. after all you’re mine.
once you find out who i am, you and i will leave this place and move away together. i want you to have my children, carry on our legacy. you’d be a wonderful mother, and a wonderful wife. don’t worry my love, i’ll send more letters soon.

Time Out

summary: pat needs a time out.
this one includes: patrick, art, freddy, & chucky. with a mention of hannibal and will.
“patrick you need to calm down. it’s okay.” you said for what felt like the 10th time. patrick had been going on a rant for the past like 30 minutes about how we need to change the bathroom rugs because he found blood on it.
“no! stop telling me to calm down, y/n. we need new rugs and new floor tile!!” he is so dramatic.
“aye, shut the fuck up!” freddy yelled from upstairs. you couldn’t help but laugh a little bit. which patrick noticed and you saw him snarl, because turning and walking away to god knows where.
thank god hannibal and will were out, otherwise an argument would’ve happened because patrick can’t control his emotions or temper. you’ve helped him a little bit, but he still struggles. it’s a work in progress.
art looked at you and laughed, causing you to shake your head at him and patrick’s nonsense. “he’s so extra.” art shook his head at your comment, causing you to giggle.
you then saw chucky walk in the living room.
“what’s up little dude.” you said. you watched him walk to the couch before sitting down next to art and snatching the tv remote from him. arts face then turned to a frown.
“what’s patrick bitching about now?” chucky said, flipping through the channels.
you walked to the other couch and sat down. “you know, the rugs and shit. the usual.”
you saw him nod his head before leaning back and watching the tv.
patrick needs a time out sometimes.

Groceries
slasher house x reader
“that shouldn’t be an issue. i don’t mind going to get the groceries while you clean up.” you nodded your head as you talked to hannibal. he had asked you to get the groceries while he cleaned up around the house, which with your kind nature you obviously agreed. in your opinion hannibal and daniel was definitely one of the more ‘calm’ people in the house if that makes sense. they were definitely the people you would go talk to if you had any problems going on, so of course if there’s a way for you to repay them, you’d do it in a heartbeat.
“thank you y/n, i really appreciate it. to show my appreciation, i will make you your favorite dessert after dinner.” he slightly smiles at you, before handing you the grocery list. your eyes had lit up when he said dessert, so you knew today was gonna be a good day.
fast forward some time, and you’re back at the house with the groceries. you had to ask jason and michael to help you pack them inside but still, you got it done. after everything was settled, hannibal started cooking dinner, and which art had decided that it would be the perfect time for him to go fuck with hannibal in the kitchen. that’s not a good idea. as you go to retrieve him from the kitchen, you see hannibal smacking the back of arts head with his hand, yelling at him to get out. you tried not to laugh at the situation, but you failed miserably, busting out into laughter at the sight. you see art start pouting as he left the kitchen, with you following him. “art i keep trying to tell you, don’t go in the kitchen while he’s in there.” he rolls his eyes at your statement before wandering off back to the basement. he’s such a funny man.
it’s now 8pm and you are playing uno with the group in the living room. billy loomis was sitting on the left side of you, while jennifer was on the right. freddy placed down a draw 4 card and called red, causing billy to cuss out profanities and calling his move “unfair”. jennifer tells him to suck it up as he draws the card, making him snarl at her. “what the fuck am i supposed to even do?!?! this game is bullshit.” here goes patrick again, complaining about something no one asked him to even do in the first place. you shake your head, no even caring to respond to him. “well you ocd fuck, no one asked you to place in the first place.” freddy said, making some of the guys laugh at him. patrick then says that this game is for babies and throws down his cards then leaves the room. everyday you wonder about him.
after the game of uno with the group it was time for bed. well, bed for hannibal and will you should say, everyone else stays up till like fucking 3am or something. as you guys were watching a movie, you looked to the side of you and noticed valak staring at you…again. “what do you want?” you heard no response like usual. “anyways.” you turn your head back to the tv. “this movie is suck a classic.” said stu. you nodded your head in agreement. hopefully tonight you can convince art to take a bath, or maybe not who knows.
how could i forget to mention that its halloween!! that means people are out, killing. isn’t that great?? you dressed up as your favorite slasher and even gave them candy after bed time. (you probably shouldn’t have don’t that, considering that fact that brahms was up all fucking night.)

well he’s, weird. and i don’t mean a demon kinda weird, he’s just very not normal.
sometimes your in the kitchen cooking, you turn around and he’s just standing there in the corner, staring. his smile burns something in your soul that you can’t describe. it’s creepy, sure, but it’s something else there too.
“he’s staring at you again.” jennifer told you for the 4th time today. you just look at her with no response like usual, before trying to ignore his gaze.
he’s quiet but loud at the same time. he uses your fears against you. like giving you nightmares, or making you have sleep paralysis. anything for him to feel superior, he does.
him and freddy have light beef with each other. giving that they’re both demons and do kinda similar stuff.
for some reason, he mostly messes with you. you don’t know why he likes your fear the best but he does.
he never goes outside. tbh, you’d prefer it that way anyway.
the clowns in the house don’t really worry about him, since he manly bothers you.
one time he came behind you and whispered something in your ear. you had no damn idea what he said but it made your body shudder.
you can’t get rid of him no matter how much you tried, good luck trying to remove him.
