i’ve got another confession my friend, i’m no fool ;;
Name: Connor Walsh
Age: 25 Years Old
Status: Kappa’s social chair
Major: Law
everyone’s got their chains to break ;;
Connor is well known for his big mouth and sharp tongue and he very rarely thinks before he speaks. He’s always the smartest person in the room (or so he likes to think) but, despite his cockiness, Connor is, in fact, very smart but he’s also very sly and willing to go off the books if it means he will come out on top. With all his less-than-discrete personality, Connor seems to fit into Kappa almost too perfectly, no wonder he’s the fraternity’s Social Chair.
What no one seems to know, though, is where did he come from? Where did he start off? Well, Connor’s life isn’t as open and known as his personality, mainly because nobody’s perfect… But that doesn’t mean you need to let those around you know, right?
Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Connor always had what most would call ‘having it easy’ but everyone knows, find me an elitist family and I’ll give you a handful of secrets. One of Connor’s personal biggest secrets is the fact that he is, in fact, gay and no matter how much he likes his Kappa brothers, there are certain social boundaries within the greek row that one doesn’t simply escape from.
Name: Madelynn Grayson Age: 18 Major: Anthropology, minor in photography Biography:Madelynn had followed to news of the murders very loosely, having been tied up with classes and constantly trying to keep herself busy, after all she was on a scholarship. Though she had quickly come to learn that her grandmother was actually a part of the only sorority worth pledging, it mattered very little. She knew nothing of the woman; having been cut off from her family long ago, a rash decision made by her mother not long before she left her young daughter to fend for herself. She’s always fought hard for everything she’s ever wanted and up to this point she has succeeded very well. When she had first come to the college, she learned very quickly that a dorm wasn’t for her and the talk around campus was to pledge Zeta or die. And seeing as how someone had just died, well she overlooked that and pushed forward.
They didn’t call it Hell week for nothing and she had barely made it out alive. But as she did with most things she pushed past it and gave it her all. She hasn’t been a sister for very long at all, but feels as if she is still trying to prove herself, which of course leads her to doing task for other sisters, namely anything everyone else doesn’t wish to do; on top of her own work load. She has been trying to learn a lot more about her family, but it has been slow going, while her grandmother’s name is listed with the other old members of the house, she hasn’t been able to find much else, neither her grandfather nor her own birth father.
Gaining a backbone has been hard for Madelynn; she hadn’t inherited her mother’s spine. But she’s quickly learning in order to survive this college thing that she’s going to need to get mean, and luckily enough she’s got a house full of sisters to teach her how it’s done. The murders are quickly catching her interest, meaning she wants to stay far from them and hope to not become a victim. While she will be quick to help out a sister in need, chasing after a murderer isn’t very high on her list. But she made a pledge and while she isn’t thrilled by the idea, she will stick to her word and try to protect her sister’s by unmasking a psychopath.
Welcome to Chesterville University’s Greek row where the only thing that that is keeping pledges from their future is each other.
History
It was the fall of 1965, and Greek life was at it’s height. Two organizations quickly rose to the top becoming the most renowned houses along the street. For the women, if a girl wasn’t a Zeta Tau Alpha, then she was simply no one. While for the boys, it was their brother fraternity Tau Kappa Eplison that ruled supreme. Together the two houses ruled the university with highest honors in both scholars and night life. All that started to change during pledging otherwise known as hell week. There had been news of a mental hospital patient escaping. Rumors had started to fly of where the patient could be in town, but when sisters and brothers started to randomly disappear, it became clear that the man on the loose was right there on the university campus. Police officers had discovered that one of the rejected pledges from Zeta had been harboring him in her dorm room, sneaking him out late at night to help with her own devious plan. It wasn’t until twenty years later when the woman’s daughter returned back to college that people started to learn the two were lovers. The fall of 1985 had been more gruesome, with an even higher death toll. The police didn’t know what they were looking for as the body count got higher and higher. People that once idolized the two organizations started to see them as cursed, deadly. All the glamour had been replaced by gloom. Suddenly no one even wanted to go near Greek row. Now nearly fifty years after the first murders, Greek life is starting to shine once again, but there is an uneasy feeling in the air. It starts with a few break ins. a few weird sounds at night. Could it be, the curse of Slaughter Row has come back? Can the pledges survive hell week long enough to get to the very bottom of the darkest secret that has been clouding Chesterville University for over fifty years?
