"We were on Metal Blade Records at that time; we had not signed with Rick Rubin and "Reign In Blood" wasn’t anything on the horizon, so the band was at its primitive, but very advanced, stage. We were gaining a lot of fans and there was a lot of underground talk about us. We were drawing pretty well."
