We’ve officially reached our opening goal! I’m so excited to start writing with everyone, and I can’t wait to get to know all of your characters. We’re going to have an absolute blast! I know that it’s practically impossible to set an opening time where absolutely every member will be online. If you’re unable to post an intro or starter right away, please don’t worry! We’ll still be around and super excited to write with you whenever you can get online. Without further ado, here is the opening plan: 

7/14/21 @ 4 p.m. EST: 

Open for plotting! Members can post their intros, start plotting with other members if they would like to do any pre-plotting, and the optional discord server link will be sent out. 

7/14/21 @ 6:00 p.m. EST:

Open for interactions! Members can post starters and begin interacting with all the other fabulous characters. 

There is still plenty of time to join SLAYERSHQ before we open tomorrow! I’ll be around all night putting the finishing touches on my characters and getting the discord server ready. Please, if you have any questions at all, send them my way!

Unfortunately, after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to close SLAYERSHQ. I’ve genuinely enjoyed writing with everyone, but there just doesn’t seem to be enough interest and activity to keep the group going right now. Thank you to everyone who participated in this group (past members too!) who made it such an enjoyable experience. I wish everyone the absolute best!

To the few apps in the inbox - I am so sorry, but I am exhausted tonight. I want to give your apps the full attention they deserve and make sure I don’t have any questions before I accept, and I just can’t do that at this moment. So, all the apps will be looked at in the morning once I get some sleep and have fresh eyes. Thank you for your patience!

Google alert just told me that there’s a full moon tonight (August 21), and that it’s a blue moon! Werewolf writers, feel free to do full moon-related threads if you’d like to.

As of today (8/18/21), I will not be accepting any more born werewolves (other than those needed for wanted connections submitted before today). Pretty much all of our current werewolves are born and many have siblings. As the species page states, werewolves have a very difficult time having children, and currently, our characters don’t really reflect that lore. So until that evens out, new werewolf roles can only be bitten, not born wolves!

Wooo, I’m loving everyone’s characters so far! Plotting is well under way, and we’re only an hour and a half away from opening for interactions. I believe I sent the discord link to everyone, but if I missed you, please let me know!
