Like his hand would just be cupping your face, his thumb slightly rubbing your cheek, as he just kinda looked at you with a dopey smile sldfjk maybe playing a bit of footsie under the table 🥺 Just really enjoying each other’s company 

And you two would be off in your own world, not noticing the fan capturing the tender moment, and it would be on a few fan accounts on twitter and ig and while you felt like someone invaded a bit of your privacy by taking a picture, you were glad you had the memory of a wonderful afternoon with your boyfriend in physical form

I wasn’t paying any attention to Taylor Swift between Fearless (album #2) and 1989 (album #5), but tumblr has recently prompted me to go back to Red (album #4) and see if I missed any gems (answer: yes, and its name is Holy Ground). Because I only know a few songs from albums #3 and #4, I missed the transition from country to pop, so to me there’s a very clean break between early Taylor Swift and 1989-era Taylor Swift, with no muddled middle. When @magicathstewart suggested that I listen to a certain song from album #3 that I hadn’t heard before, I spent the first minute being like, wow, Speak Now era Taylor Swift has a very similar sound to... what is that artist’s name?? I can’t remember her name, darn, now it’s bugging me, I’ll have to go through my iTunes library once this song is over and figure out who she sounds like. Turns out that Speak Now era Taylor Swift sounds a lot like early Taylor Swift. Who would have guessed.
