#sleep weening

I haven't been in a good place

I've been so busy, and not really myself the past couple of days, so I haven't posted much at all. :/ but I did want to give an update on Ryder's sleep really quickly! Yesterday he sleep from 9:30 until 6:45!!! Wooo whoo! He woke up and Rory took him a bottle, but for some reason he couldn't seem to go back to sleep! I ended up bring him into our bed and cuddling him back to sleep. Last night, Ryder went to sleep at 9pm and he is still sleeping! It is 6:50 am! Wooooo!!!! Now I just hope this continues! I could realllly use the extra sleep!

Day four of sleep weening:

No good :/ he had a hard time falling asleep last night, so he didn't actually settle in until near 10pm. The last bottle he had before bed was at 8pm. So I need to figure out a way for him to get a bottle at bedtime, while still following his whole 4-5 schedule. He still slept very well, until 5:17am. Still better than 12 am or 2 am! I tried to sooth him back to sleep but he was not interested, he was very hungry. I tried to pick him up and he even tried to root for my breast, which he hasn't done in a loooong long time! So I gave in a made him a bottle! It was only about 30 minutes before time anyway so I figured it wouldn't hurt. He ate and went straight back to sleep. He has been stirring a little more than normal this morning, but staying asleep, so maybe he is just dreaming. I wish I could just go take him into my bed and fall back to sleep with him! Ugh, crap for working from home :(

Night three of sleep weening!

Can I just start this post off with the word... Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!! Ryder went to bed a little later than normal last night because I went to my parents until later. We got home around 9:30, Rory helped me change him into pjs, feed him a bottle, and put him to bed! He went straight to sleep, no fight at all. And slept until *****drumroll***** 6:09 am!!!!!!!!!! yayyyyy!!! I gave him a bottle then and he went back to sleep. It's now 8:33 am and he is waking up for good. Woo! Not only did we get some uninterrupted sleep through the night but he is also learning how to sleep in just a little bit! Hopefully by the end of this whole weening thing he will learn to sleep a little later each day! Anywho... Yay for little achievements!
