She wasn't antisocial; far from it. Her mother had done no shortage of boasting on how her teenage daughter was not a "brooding shut-in",—to which she held back the urge to roll her eyes—and she did generally get along with most people. Still, at the end of the day, she did her venting to a diary and never had anyone crashing at her house and calling her mom "aunt". It might have been a weird thing to want, but the truth was that Jéssica felt alone, even if she wasn't.
Looked back at my DeviantART yesterday and remembered the ASK blog I had that I never continued - a small blast from the past, a momento, really (I lowkey miss these goobers) 😋🌟🐾🍭🎉✨️⁉️🎶
They're called the Candyrakians (misspelled it when it was first created, actually named "Candyrackians"), and they're an AU inspired by the TricksterVirus AU, Trickster Mode, and AnarackWarriors - me and an awesome friend a while back created these guys, but I stopped the ask blog I had for them a while ago 😓💔💔
Ig this is just a lil redesign of them as a silly way to apologize to them for abandoning them for all these years 😝😝
Forever immortalized on @ask-or-dare-the-candy-rakians 😓🫡💔‼️
Characters inspired/originally created by AnarackWarriors !! 🐾🌟🎶

The interval between an activity being assigned and the teacher going over the answer for it was much too short for her, who needed to read the worksheets at least twice in order to make sense of what was written. The more she fell behind, the more the teacher's voice became a meaningless droning in the background of her hearing and the more that claustrophobic feeling closed in around her.
She felt something inside her would burst as she held a hand up and waited for the teacher to call on her. "May I go to the bathroom?"
Jéssica suppressed the urge to run out of the room as soon as she received a nod. Instead, she felt each step towards the bathroom as if her feet were made of lead. She locked herself in one of the stalls, sat on the floor with her back pressed against the door and hid her face between her knees, trying and failing to follow a breathing exercise she had seen online.
"Yeah, I'm going to Mr Silva's tomorrow."
In a recent ask game, you said that Lobiti likes to carry a picture of her family. Can I hear more about them? How big is her family? Are they alive? Do they approve of her being a ninja/freedom fighter?
WOOO LET'S DO THIS! ❄️
Her guardians are a couple made up of an arctic hare named Alba and an arctic fox name Blanc. Lobiti was very close to Blanc specifically—I have in my notes that she "admired Blanc very much and gets a lot of her mannerisms and accent from him". He's also the one who taught her how to use a sword.
Then we have her little siblings. From oldest to youngest: Guia the Ptarmigan, Brume the Polar Bear, Neve the Caribou, and Mima the Samoyeda. Names are subject to change, as you can see from the image below—I want them all to have a winter theme going on, but it's a work in progress so far hahaha. As far as ages go, Guia is just two years younger than Lobiti while Mima was only 1 year old when their guardians left (more on that below). The other two sit somewhere in the middle.
Because I created Lobiti around the same time Sonic Forces was announced, I've made her story sort of tied to that game. She used to live with her found family at Aurora Icefield and, during the war, that region remained untouched because the climate was too harsh for the robots. But that also meant they were isolated from the rest of the world.
Lobiti was like 13 back then and, as the oldest kid, she was left in charge of the younger ones when her guardians went to help in the war effort (don't worry, the other adults in their village were also keeping an eye on them). But years have passed since the war ended and those two haven't come back yet, so Lobiti takes matters into her own hands and goes after them. This is the "hook" I would build an story about her from.
In a way, her family does and does not support her being a warrior—her siblings want their parents back, so they approve of her going after them, but they also miss her and worry when she's away. I don't have much on the characters individually yet, but my notes say that Alba and Blanc are very much in love and that Mima is a natural Chao-magnet, they all love her. Lobiti is closest to Guia, since they are almost the same age, but she has a good relationship with all her siblings. She used to help Brume with his Chao named Muffler. Oh, Lobiti also has a Wisp named Cardigan who's always with her and powers up her sword.
Also Bark the Polar Bear is a local hero. That is a thing I have in my notes.
I love this little family and I really should do more with them. Thanks for the ask, this was super fun (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
