Disclaimer: I don't know a ton about Eclipse in particular but I tried a bit

Reader is a mechanic that took him home and fixed some of his physical damage, but could not fix the glitches in his programming.

My fluff headcanons for Eclipse x reader:

He enjoys tracing any scars, stretch marks, freckles, and birthmarks you have, making up stories about the constellations adorning your body.

You keep all the lights in your home on during the day, and all the lights off at night, to keep Eclipse from suffering through glitchy switches too often. This also allows him to enter any room in the house with a lot more ease. You keep nightlights in every room for your own visibility.

Whenever Eclipse deals with a painful switch, he's gotten pretty used to reaching out to you for comfort. You wish and kiss the departing mode goodnight, and then greet the incoming mode with sweet words.

Sometimes his programming glitches out more than normal, and he forgets who you are. He asks you many questions that you've definitely answered many times before, but your indulgence helps calm him down. Eventually, he always gets his memories of you back, and tries a little too hard to make up for it. He takes care of you more and holds you tighter, savoring it in hopes of making memories of you stick for longer.

He LOVES cuddling. It was awkward at first, given his robotic and twitchy nature, but you both eventually found your groove. He's the big spoon, of course.

He can't kiss you due to not having lips, but that doesn't stop him from trying! It usually results in cute (and slightly disorienting) headbutts to your head. He also asks for kisses very often, and loves when you give both halves of his face equal amounts of attention.

He enjoys watching kids' cartoons on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket with you. He especially loves it when you fall asleep against him, because it gives him the opportunity to pick you up and tuck you into bed. It takes him back to good times, and the peace on your sleeping face is a huge bonus.

14. if you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about?

If I could, I think I'd give a TED talk on how TTRPGs can potentially be therapeutic and help people recover from trauma and build healthy communication skills. It's highly specific but it's something I feel strongly about and I think it'd be very interesting to delve into that in a more academic way :)
