Dean x Reader: “We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?”
Something you were dead set on changing about Dean Winchester after you had begun dating him was to make him a little more fearless. Not of the things that go bump in the night, but rather the idea that you don’t always need to be traditional to have fun. Life wasn’t all about
bowling alleys and movie theatres. Dean seemed to have the actions that thought otherwise.
It was a rainy day, which was a rare occurrence in Kansas. Well, at least to this extent. Thunder was echoing throughout the area, rain pelting the impala’s windshield as the wipers shed them away furiously.
You’d never been afraid of storms, but you’d be lying if you said they didn’t make you nervous on occasion. It wasn’t the lightning that bothered you, but rather the harsh winds that sometimes accompanied it. And being in a car while all of that was going on, well… your heart was beating a little bit faster. But now was about being fearlessly reckless, right?
As you unbuckled your seat and rolled down your window, Dean immediately started shouting. “Y/N, what the hell are you doing?!”
“Feeling the rain,” is all you said, sitting on the ledge and holding onto the roof of the car, your whole torso out of the vehicle.
“Let me get this right: We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?” He asked, shifting his gaze from you and the road hurriedly.
“Exactly!” your hair and shirt were soaked as you shouted, making Dean smirk before laughing.
