Tamaki had wandered into the school's library to do some research on some possible new themes for the spring parties the host club was in the process of planning, there was always so much to do. This was of course until he had spotted her, now he had a completely course of action.

The blond sat down across from her at the table, a warm smile on his face as he put his few books down. "It is almost too beautiful of a day to be hulled up in this dusty old library, can I perhaps interest you in a stroll around the gardens to get some fresh air?" He had no actual plan of action, and was instead just saying the first thing that popped into his head.

"Oh! Where-ever are my manners, I am Tamaki Suoh.. It's a pleasure to meet you Princess."

" I don't think we can re-do valentines day, Yusuke. It was four days ago & think us just being in the park was very nice! Why would we re-do it?"

“Jus’ feels like I blew it..” Between his damn (late)highschool education and other things he handles within Yokohama, there really isn’t much time Yusuke’s left for himself. Coupled with Ami’s own studies as well…though he expected life to get hectic for the both of them sometime. After all, they were both in the busiest era of their lives..so something like this was bound to happen. “I wanted t’ make it a day that you’d remember, like t’ the point when we’re far off in the future you’d be like ‘Hey remember that one valentine’s day.’ And then we’d just laugh. Though I did make ya a bento that’s in the truck..figured I’d give it t’ ya when I drop ya back home.. which is still not at my house by the way.” The obvious ‘urameshi subtle’ reminder that she doesn’t have to bother with paying rent if she just moves in with him in Yokohama. “Jus’ sayin’ if yer worried about travel time, ya can just ride puu and you’d turn an hour drive into a five minute flight.”

❝   it is, isn't it ?   ❞   hotaru murmurs in reply, resting her arms against the snow-covered steel of the balcony railing. the snowfall is much softer now, much slower, but it's no less enchanting to witness. the sky above is painted with deep, vibrant purples, bleeding into the beginnings of a star-filled night. she rests her chin in the cradle of her own palm, half-tempted to stick out her tongue & see if any lazily drifting snowflakes found their way there.

❝   i wish ... it was this peaceful more often. like during the rest of the year.   ❞   the little firefly confesses, voice barely more than a whisper. a secret to share with the guardian of wisdom on this gentle winter's night. hotaru tilts her head slightly, just enough to offer a kind smile in the older girl's direction, warmhearted despite the sadness that lingers in the upturn of her lips.   ❝   i guess if that were true, then it wouldn't be quite as special though, right ?   ❞

the fact that the train into town left on time was a miracle in and of itself. there were concerns with the weather being as bad as it was-- typhoon season and all that, but things still kicked off, albeit slower than expected. as the rain continued to batter the windows, a sudden announcement over the intercoms cuts through the silence. ❝ due to hazardous weather conditions and mild flooding, we will be stopping the train and awaiting redirection to avoid the worst of it. thank you so much for your patience as we ensure that your travel is a safe one. ❞ kuwabara sighs, noting the reactions of the other passengers before sliding down in his seat. they might be there a while.

That explains the concussive feeling. It’s amazing he could withstand people breaking small boulders against the top of his head, but once he’s unexpectedly faced with the consequences of gravity he finds himself sometimes worse for wear..but at least he felt good enough that he could actually sit back up. Gosh the surface was bitching too, they must still be on that thick layer of ice. Slowly, Yusuke raised himself into a seated position and began rubbing his cranium. “Sorry about that Bubbles. Yer okay though right??”

"Are you sure you don't want to spend Christmas with your mother or your friends? I don't want to you wanting for me to remember the day and look up from my notes. I know I can get lost in my studies, but I don't want you feeling neglected."

“After comin’ back this is gonna be our first holiday together..now that we’re even old enough t’ even be out on our own.” He spoke with a smile on his face, after all they’ve spent..quite a while separated already, every passing day was just a reminder to him that he wouldn’t take he time with her for granted once he returns to ningenkai, and he’s going to make good on that personal promise. “As for mom she’s goin’ away t’ Fukuoka t’ visit grams..me and that fossil aren’t exactly on speakin’ terms yet soo..i’unno I feel like I’d jus’ ruin the holiday mood.”

What’s got him surprised is the fact that she said she’d be lost in HER STUDIES. That statement made him raise a brow because it’s like he didn’t exactly hear what she had just said. “Did I hear ya say you’d be deep in yer studies during the holidays? Oh Blueberry I know how important gettin’ the best scores are t’ ya. In fact I’m jealous of yer work ethics buut ther’es a time t’ work yer ass off and a time t’ jus’ relax..and now’s the latter. Thinkin’ for yer sake spendin’ the holidays with ya is gonna be the best thing. Someone’s gotta show ya how t’ go about yer day. Startin’ tomorrow why not come shoppin’ with me?? I’ve portable heaters t’ buy for a couple of homeless people that’re gonna be cooped up in the sewers.”

He's watching her prepare little lunches, something for Yusuke to snack on at school.. Knowing him he might have just gotten too lazy and go straight to the convenience store and swipe for instant ramen..but here she is prepared onigir. ('I wonder if I'd be able t' get away huggin' her right now...who am I kiddin' she'd probably freeze me.')

There is a certain way to describe characters and their emotions without speech and you do that very well with Mori. For a character that only speaks when it is absolutely necessary, there is no guessing when it comes to what he is thinking and experiencing. Its really nice to read. Looks, movement, body language, they speak for him where words couldn't do it. I appreciate reading it and envisioning. Thank you for that.

I figured it's about time I respond to this. It was important to me to think of something thoughtful to say in response, but you know what? I'm going to dish some compliments to you as well. Before I do that, I want to thank you for seeing him and appreciating him. Having a character that doesn't speak much in a roleplay environment isn't ideal, and so I always appreciate people giving him ( and I ) a chance.

I always love how introspective your writing is. Ami has gone through a lot of trauma ( I mean.. of course ) and it's so much fun to see her develop outside of the senshi's. To see her and her own personal life, her struggles, and how you remain true to her character as well. I always appreciate seeing you around <3
