Hey, my friend I have made some ocs for your au! Draw them if you wish! https://www.tumblr.com/fantasydragon08/801404798896324608/new-ocs?source=share
I just want to say, every time your art appears on my screen I marvel over it. I greatly appreciate you!
Aaaw đŸ˜ it makes me so happy everytime someone comes to me and says they made ocs for Bismuth-12. It's so rewarding for me personally, my goal of everyone having fun is coming closer every day. Thanks a bunch!
This post will be about the Sleigh drones. This guy will be our example.
The Sleigh drones were both part of a festitives and crucial supply missions. Usually found in places where snow is abundant and never ceasing. They're in the same family of the rescue drones, however modified with pieces of sentinel tech in order to make them stronger for pulling sleighs. Often times they were brought in and stationed in smaller mountain towns. Pulling sleighs for leisurely trips around the trees and roads. They are a staple among planets that cannot support horses and reindeer. Being decorated and dressed up for the occasions.
They're a gentle drone type, very aware of their strength and size. Dealing with humans every day has taught them to be careful. They don't speak often and when they do it's usually short and polite responses. They could be found sitting in the snow, holding food in their hands for the many animals around these villages. Their calm and quiet demeanors make them a favorite of shy animals. Their heat also helped, being a welcoming presence to the cold. This calm and gentle nature made them quite popular with local children who braided their hair as well as decorated their manes with beads and ribbon.
In harsher areas, these drones served a much more labor intensive purpose. Pulling sleighs across sheets of ice and snow. Carrying life saving supplies as well as passengers. These stoic giants took their jobs with silent pride. Guarding their packages and assuring they arrived at their destination safely. Their antlers and accessories were often coated in reflective paint. This allowed them to be seen and located the moment they reached their destination. It also made sure they would not be involved in any accidents concerning a human mistaking what they are. Their glowing antlers eventually becoming an icon and beacon of hope.
Years after the fall these drones still do their work as always. Carrying drones and supplies across the harshest of snowy landscapes. On Bismuth-12 they served as gaurdians. However as supplies dwindled, once safe humans were forced to venture out from the Snowy Wasteland. Sleigh after sleigh was brought to the edge of the woods where the snow tapered off into trees and concrete. There the Sleigh drone would wait until it could no longer. A few Sleigh drones perished waiting for the humans to return when they never would. Others were eventually convinced by their Elk Squad companions to return to Stag Village.
No ant colonies have these schematics. Those being kept in the rigs of the Penguin drones and the villages themselves. Although they are desired, the Sleigh drones themselves seem apprehensive about letting the schematics out to traveling traders. Likely still holding hope that their humans will return, no matter how little chance there is for that. These days the population of Sleigh drones is small. However, these gentle giants still offer rides around the holidays.
Population: small, slowly decreasing
Gender ratio: 100% male

A DD brings their blade to the neck of the Sleigh drone waiting, strapped to his name sake. But they hesitate when they see the tired resolution and acceptance in his exposed eye. They ask a single question, "why?" Though the Sleigh drone never answered.
