More of sketchbook exploration then a finished work, I sit motionless in darkness and continue to do so after the lamp is switched on. Personally I can feel the room open up and the illumination of my eye lids. Everything appears warmer, but vast. I am conscious while remaining dormant.

This work was dealing with temporality and time. The film is created of 2 overlaying pieces of footage…One is a contemplation of past years as I sit in darkness in the wardrobe in my room with a night vision camera. The other is a reaction to the first layer where I grow frustrated with the emotion I unearthed to the viewer. I sit in my closed wardrobe breathing heavily on the wardrobe mirror in order to distort and block the night vision footage from being seen. Towards the end I had to vacate the space from  lack of oxygen. The film is a very real and narcissistic look into duality, censorship and the human condition.
