ugh yess thank you for getting rid of their dew claws. i used to work at a grooming salon for doggies and i'd see dew claws all the time that were like hanging there all weird on adult dogs it was terrible :xxx better to just snip them off IMHO
We take them off cause it does look terrible, and also cause they can get caught on things and really hurt the dog. Most of our older dogs that we got from "reputable" breeders still have their dew claws and they get caught on our blankets or they come in from running with weeds and grass caught on them.
I should've taken them off these guys when they were three days but I've been super tired. Oops. The smaller they are, the less they feel and the easier it is to get the nail clippers around them.
