Silk® Nutchello™!
Hey Everyone! It has been about 3 months since I have done a sampling for crowdtap. Shocking, I know! Sometimes life just happens...
Anyways, today I am going to write about Silk® Nutchello™. The particular flavor that my wonderful father-in-law picked up for me after work one day (using my FREE coupon, in exchange for my review; from crowdtap of course)
was Silk Nutchello Caramel, Almonds and Cashews. I’ve got to hand it to him, he has good taste! I say this because I absolutely love all 3 of these flavors on their own & I would have more than likely picked this one out too if I had gone to the store myself. I just couldn’t wait to try these flavors together!
That night I poured myself a glass. The flavor was good, not too sweet or overpowering. The milk itself was silky. My only complaint would be, I would have liked the Caramel flavor to be slightly stronger. I felt it wasn’t quite on par with the Almond & the cashew flavors. However, I liked it just the same. Overall it was a refreshing treat & alternative to dairy milk.
After that, my husband and I decided to kick things up a notch. We thought since it is good on its own, how will it taste in a shake? So, naturally we decided to make Chocolate PB shakes using the Silk Nutchello as our base.
The shakes were thick, rich and creamy with out “cream” or ice cream being added (WooHoo! A huge plus for those of us who are watching what we eat). It was so awesome finding something that takes one of our favorite family recipes and makes it better! I cannot wait to try the other flavors of Silk® Nutchello™! I would most certainly purchase this product again & recommend this product to others.
