L’il Critters™ Gummy Vites™

Hey Everyone! It has been a while since I have done a free sampling for Smiley360 in exchange for my review.

Today I will be talking a little bit about our experience with L’il Critters™ Gummy Vites™ thus far.

First let me start off by saying that we were super excited to learn that we qualified to try L'il Critters Gummy Vites, WooHoo! 

Why all the excitement? well, my kiddo loves anything that resembles something sweet, for examples: gummy bears, lol. This means that getting her to take her vitamins will be easy. So, it was a no brainer and we decided to give it a go! 

Once our sample arrived, I was wanting to see what all the hype was about. I decided to try the gummy vites myself. I've got to say, my favorite L'il Critters Gummy is the citrus one & my kiddo prefers the berry! Yes, they are a hit in our household! The only thing (in my opinion) that would make this product more appealing to me is if they were available in a berry flavor.

In conclusion, I appreciate and enjoy that there is no gluten, no high fructose corn syrup and no synthetic dyes in this multivitamin for kids. Which means my little one will actually be getting the nutrients and vitamins that she needs.

Silk® Nutchello™!

Hey Everyone! It has been about 3 months since I have done a sampling for crowdtap. Shocking, I know! Sometimes life just happens...

Anyways, today I am going to write about Silk® Nutchello™. The particular flavor that my wonderful father-in-law picked up for me after work one day (using my FREE coupon, in exchange for my review; from crowdtap of course)

was Silk Nutchello Caramel, Almonds and Cashews. I’ve got to hand it to him, he has good taste! I say this because I absolutely love all 3 of these flavors on their own & I would have more than likely picked this one out too if I had gone to the store myself. I just couldn’t wait to try these flavors together!

That night I poured myself a glass. The flavor was good, not too sweet or overpowering. The milk itself was silky. My only complaint would be, I would have liked the Caramel flavor to be slightly stronger. I felt it wasn’t quite on par with the Almond & the cashew flavors. However, I liked it just the same.  Overall it was a refreshing treat & alternative to dairy milk. 

After that, my husband and I decided to kick things up a notch. We thought since it is good on its own, how will it taste in a shake? So, naturally we decided to make Chocolate PB shakes using the Silk Nutchello as our base. 

The shakes were thick, rich and creamy with out “cream” or ice cream being added (WooHoo! A huge plus for those of us who are watching what we eat). It was so awesome finding something that takes one of our favorite family recipes and makes it better! I cannot wait to try the other flavors of Silk® Nutchello™! I would most certainly purchase this product again & recommend this product to others.

Centrum® MultiGummies® for Women

Over the years, I have tried various different kinds of Multivitamins.  Time and time again, I would reach for the gummy or candy version in vitamin form. Only because I have a huge SWEET TOOTH! So, for me they are easier to take.  With that being said,you have to be careful when selecting a gummy versions of vitamins because they can be loaded with sugar and can cause more harm than good. 

However, these  Centrum® MultiGummies® for Women only have 2g of sugar and the percentage of Vitamins such as  A, C, D, E, B and E are comparable to other multivitamins on the market. 

Here is what I like most about these particular vitamins:  -I got to try them for free in exchange for my opinion via Smiley 360 - There are 3 delicious flavors packed into just one bottle! Berry, Cherry & Orange. If I had to chose one of these flavors as my favorite, I would definitely chose berry. To me it tastes the best! 

- They are gluten free, which is beneficial to not only the people who have a gluten allergy, but it is also beneficial for those of us who have a sensitive stomach! 

- Higher percentage of D3 is said to be helpful with supporting our metabolism, immune system and energy. Who wouldn’t be down with that!? LOL. -Contains Biotin, which is known to help with growing healthy nails.

All in all, these Centrum® MultiGummies® for Women appear to be a well rounded vitamin according to the information provided on the nutrition label. 

Personally, I’ve enjoyed my free sample by tasting a different flavor each morning (I like to store my bottle next to my coffee maker or next to my computer...that way I will remember to take them!).  

I would recommend this product to others and purchase these vitamins again in the future, if I chose to go a gummy route, cause lets face it...I like to change things up every once in awhile. Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Mission

After almost a year of waiting, I was finally accepted to do a mission for Smiley 360. Woohoo! As part of that mission I received a box of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in exchange for my opinion. Almost immediately I began trying out several different Baking Soda tips around my house. I've got to say, I never realized how many uses there were for Baking Soda, let alone, how accessible they are! I mean, I have used it for deodorizing my trash cans, deodorizing my fridge, to clean my washing machine, as a laundry booster and of course baking over the years. 

 However, In this month alone I have also used baking soda for making bath truffles, in my laundry, to clean the drains in my bathroom, as an antacid, as a paste on my bug bites and to clean our pool things thanks to my free sample from Smiley 360. With that being said, out of the tips I listed above, my favorite Outdoor quick tip so far this summer has been how to clean my daughters grungy pool toys. The Arm & Hammer Baking Soda solution worked wonders. I can't believe how clean they came out time & time again. What a life saver! Now I don't have to worry about those pesky germs and grunge contaminating our pool water. (My short video discussing this topic will eventually be found on Youtube, if it ever finishes processing! )

Rubbermaid® FreshWorks™ Produce Saver Container

It’s review time again for this Gal! In today’s review I will be talking about Rubbermaid® FreshWorks™ Produce Saver Container. I received this free sample via Crowdtap in exchange for my review. 

Now, I will be the first to admit that I had mixed feelings when I first heard came across this product. As with everything I do, the pros outweighed the cons and I decided that I wanted to be one of many to put this container to the test! Low and behold, I applied for the mission and the rest is history...only because I am now putting my pen to paper to tell y’all what I think of this innovative product :D

I followed the instructions provided to me. I proceeded to take several before and after photos. Here is my college.

In my opinion from looking at these photos, it is kind of hard to (accurately) see the difference between days 1-7 on the grapes that remained in their original packaging in comparison to days 1-7 in the Rubbermaid® FreshWorks™ Produce Saver Container...However, when I began to wash the 7 day old grapes sans the Rubbermaid® FreshWorks™ Produce Saver container, I ended up losing about 1/2 of them because they were either mushy or rotten. Which was disappointing and I was about to loose all hope as I pulled my FreshWorks container from the fridge. I was extremely uneasy as I pulled off the lid. I proceeded to pluck a few grapes from the vine, washed them & popped them into my mouth. I swear, I must have lit up like a little kid on Christmas Morning! The grapes weren’t mushy at all, they had the right amount of crunch & juice to them. WooHoo!

I put my remaining grapes back into the fridge. We are now on day 8 and I am still enjoying my fresh, crispy, juicy gapes as part of my mid morning snack. I am still just as shocked as I was yesterday. 

Experiencing this sampling first hand provides me with great expectations of having fresh produce come week 2 should we be unable to make it into the store on a weekly basis. 

I've had nothing but a positive experience with my Rubbermaid® FreshWorks™ Produce Saver container and I’m very pleased that I received this product for free from Crowdtap in exchange for my review. 

With that being said, I will be looking for other products by Rubbermaid® FreshWorks™ in addition to recommending this product to my family and friends. I will definitely purchase from this product line in the future.

Mr. Sketch® Scented Washable Markers

My 3 year old and I enjoy coloring with our free 10 count sample of Mr. Sketch® scented washable markers! 

Although, right now, we cannot decide if the cherry, watermelon or blueberry is our favorite? I’m leaning towards CHERRY! My kiddo, well she is leaning towards Watermelon.

As a mom, I appreciate that these markers have bold colors, various size lines that you can make with each marker and most importantly, they're washable! With a little one running around, getting into our craft supplies, this is a must!

So far we have used these delectable markers to color in coloring books, student work sheets and to create an insect or two of our own.

We're very pleased with our sample from Crowdtap and Mr. Sketch®.

GoGo squeeZ® YogurtZ

I was so stoked when I found out that Crowdtap had a sampling for and new product from  GoGo squeeZ and that I was accepted to be a part of their free sampling!

You see, I  have been a huge fan of  GoGo squeeZ Applesauce, ever since my little one began eating actual food (she’s now 3). We would shop at Sams for all of our baby essentials because it allowed us to save mucho dinero. Picking up the applesauce in bulk became like a tradition. They were just so convenient, and mess free...which is appealing to moms like me! Okay, so back to the present. I was delighted to learn that GoGo squeeZ was expanding their product line to yogurt or as they like to refer to them as YogurtZ. Within minutes of the package arriving, my daughter got into it.

She liked it! Which is saying something (kudos GoGo squeeZ) because there are some things, like yogurt  and even milk that she wants nothing to do with these days. Dairy in general has become somewhat of a challenging task during meal times for us... 

Again as a mom, I appreciate that there is a nutritional snack pack that helps me make sure that my daughter has a well balanced diet each and every day. What’s even better, this wholesome snack (strawberry flavor) contains ingredients that I can actually pronounce, such as: Cultured reduced fat 2% milk, cane sugar, Strawberry puree, fruit pectin, Tapioca starch and Vitamin D2. This makes me one happy mommy! 

In conclusion, I would most certainly recommend this delicious snack pack to other mom’s and friends, as well as continuing to purchase  GoGo squeeZ YogurtZ/products in general in the future.

Snuggle Bear Den Community - Crafty Paws Dryer Sheets Box Mission - Part 2

Do y’all remember my previous post about the Snuggle Bear Den Community - Crafty Paws Dryer Sheets Box Mission ?  Well to my surprise, when I arrived home yesterday. This was waiting for me (see photo below).

By completing my craftypaws mission & using my free sample of Snuggle Dryer Sheets, I qualified for a sweepsentry and won! This was totally unsuspected and caught me by surprise! One of the many reasons why I love Smiley360 and Snuggle Bear Den :D

Goldfish Baked W/Whole Grain- Pretzels

This was an exceptionally fun mission to do with a small child! Thanks Crowdtap and Goldfish!

It encouraged me to get creative in a couple of ways....

First, I had to create a combo using my free sample of Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain- Pretzels variety and pair it with our favorite fruits or favorite vegetables. I chose to use vegetables because, well, let’s face it...they needed to be used. I also had a hankering for some hummus! 

This is what I came up with

I decided to make a bright & colorful work of “art”, lol. I made a sun using carrots and Goldfish Mix Cheddar crackers, clouds using cucumber and Goldfish Colors Crackers (extras I had on hand) and a bell pepper canoe filled with hummus and my free sample of Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain- Pretzels. My husband and I ate the canoe and our little one cleared almost everything else. It was fun for the whole family! 

Then I had to come up with a game and incorporate my free sample of Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain- Pretzels. I was coming up blank! 

Side bar... While I was looking up some fun activities to do with numbers to add onto our homeschooling lesson (we’re learning about the number seven) I came across several different number charts. I decided to outline/create my own by hand. My hope is that numbers 1-6 will be review for our kiddo. That way we can really focus on the number 7 by the time we get to it (see photo below). I think next time I will make the lines in between each number darker. 

This will be a wonderful activity that I plan on continuing during our breaks from school. I also plan on adding on each number, one at a time as we get to them. That way my kiddo will end up reviewing the numbers she knows and practicing and learning about the ones she may struggle with or that are new to her.

Garnier Whole Blends - Crowdtap

Hey Ya’ll! I’m back with another free sampling that I did for Crowdtap! As you can probably tell, it was for Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo and Conditioner.

I cannot tell you how absolutely thrilled I am to see these large and popular brands now adding ingredients, such as coconut oils, cocoa butters, and honey which are good for us. It makes me even happier that they are taking out toxic ingredients such as parabens. WooHoo!  

Just to give y’all an idea of some ingredients that are in these delectable new products, here are a few that I have on hand right now (cocoa butter and honey not pictured, I blanked!).

Now back to business! 

I love ABSOLUTELY everything about Garnier's Coconut Water and Vanilla Milk Shampoo & Conditioner! The aroma filled my entire first story, I felt so relaxed and my hair, well it was soooo smooth and appeared to have more body!

Garnier’s Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter is a close second for me, as I love the scent and how soft my hair was afterwords but I believe I would enjoy the shampoo more if it was slightly thicker. 

Lastly, Garnier’s Honey Treasures. This product has the best of both Garnier's Coconut Water and Vanilla Milk & Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter Shampoos and Conditioners when it came to consistency. However, the scent is not my favorite and in my opinion faded a little too quickly. 

All in all, I believe that each of these products have the potential to do as advertised with regular use. One package just isn’t enough! I would buy any of the products from Garnier’s Whole Blends line again! I am one happy Mama!

Moms Meet

Recently I came across Moms meet. In ways it is similar to Smiley360 and Crowdtap. However, in other ways Moms Meet is completely different. For instance you do quests and use their sharing tools on social media sites to earn coins. They have sample missions, where you sample their products, for feedback and webinars, where you can win prizes/earn more coins. I believe these are by invite only via email. 

In addition to all of these great opportunities, Moms Meet on occasion will host parties on facebook. WooHoo, I sure do love a good PARTY! This particular Party was by So Delicious Dairy Free products. Below (see photo) is some eye candy, aka. the prize pack that I won for participating. I’m one happy Momma!

I’m still fairly new to this social media site built for “Moms”, but it has been a blast! Since joining I have earned 1,235 coins. With these coins you can save up to purchase things from their reward catalog such as a surprise pack (goodies/samplings), t-shirts and magazines to name a few. I can’t wait to see what’s next! Reynolds® Kitchens Sample Mission-Cookie Baking Sheets Parchment Paper.

What is good about being sick you ask? Well, let me tell ya!  Baking tons of delicious, gluten free, sugar cookies with my little one, for Valentines Day using our free sample of  Reynolds® Kitchens Cookie Baking Sheets Parchment Paper. 

Now I’m not quite finished with my mission just yet, but for this particular part of the mission, I took a recipe from  Reynolds® Kitchens (to make it gluten free, I substituted the regular flour for a GF flour mix by Pillsbury). Added a little blue vanilla & Strawberry icing and voila, a tasty treat. My family enjoys them so much, that I have to admit they’re almost gone! See for yourselves, look below :D

These were made by my little one, a baker/chef in the making. Please notice the bite out of the second cookie...I guess she thought that mommy wouldn’t notice, lol! 

Anyhow this is most certainly a job well done and an extremely fun mission to be included in!

Well, signing off to make... you guessed it! More cookies, this time I have to bake some using the Cookie Baking Sheets Parchment Paper and some with out to compare the two, hooray! I will be back soon to share more pictures and my review of this product. 

Of course there are other things besides cookies that these Cookie Baking Sheets Parchment Paper will work for. However, in this house we have a love for two things cookies and chocolate. Needless to say we are going to sick with what we love, lol.

Mucinex Fast-Max

At the time of receiving my Mucinex Fast-Max sample via Crowdtap I was not sick, and said as much when it came to filling in my report. I was bummed because I really wanted to provide more insight. Well that was last week... 

This week, on Tuesday to be exact, I came down with an awful cold. Illnesses are always much more exciting when you have a toddler around, not! After panicking about what I was going to take, I remembered that I had a sample that I wanted to put to the test. So, out of the pantry it came. 

I took my first dose, and within minutes (probably around 10-20 if I had to put a number on it). I could feel my symptoms being attacked. My coughs were less violent, my head was less congested...now if only my nose wasn’t so stuffy. The only thing that I was not a fan of, was feeling a little queasy with each daytime dose. I began taking the capsules after I ate instead of directly before eating and that helped a little. 

The night time capsules, however, helped me get a good nights sleep. (Well as much as one can get with having a sick family and being sick themselves). In my opinion, the night time capsule was formulated perfectly! It didn’t bother my stomach at all and it had the right amount to treat my cold but not so much that it kept me asleep. Basically what I am saying is, I wasn't so “out of it” that I couldn’t wake myself up to care for my sick toddler. I was able to get to her within a moments notice. Which again was nice because I hate feeling groggy and helpless when she needs me.  

Have I mentioned that being sick sucks!?! Well, thanks to Mucinex Fast-Max I am able to function. Kicking those pesky germs bye bye, one small step at a time.

All in all I am very pleased to have had this opportunity to try this medication, for free, through Crowdtap. I’m on Day 3 of being sick and although I feel like I am dragging my feet today, my symptoms have not been as bothersome. I feel like I can accomplish the menial things I have been putting of, like the laundry and dishes. Hey, I can even breathe through my nose. I am one Happy Mamma! Reynolds® Kitchens Sample Mission-Slow Cooker Liners

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love making meals in my CrockPot, especially on the weekend when my husband is working. It’s my favorite “GO TO” Mostly because I have an almost 3 year old running around...anyone that has littles knows how challenging it can be to prep and make dinner when your mini me is following you closely, begging for your attention and is very determined to get you to drop everything to play with them. 

So, I’ve found comfort in pulling my crockpot out, prepping the meal as my daughter is napping. That way when she is up she has my undivided attention, we’ll go to the library, pick up our mail or even walk to the park all while our meal is cooking away safely at home (I really enjoy each and every moment that I spend with her).

I thought this was great but when I actually used my #freesample of Reynolds® Slow Cooker Liners (see photo above) it was a whole different level of Amazing. Clean-up no longer took me overnight, it was done within minutes! (see photo below).

Typically I would let my crockpot cool, remove the liner and toss it right into the trash, then put it away. It felt good to be done within a fraction of the time. This product made my life with a toddle easier when it comes to meals. Now I am able to spend the rest of the night watching a show with my family before putting my little one to bed. Needless to say, I’m very pleased with this product!

I’m still on the fence about using these on a regular basis (every weekend) due to cost or if I should save them for special occasions, such as pot-lucks and parties? I guess I have some research to do the next time I’m at the store ;) 

Either way, I’m a fan of this product and I will most certainly purchase again in addition to recommending to others.

Snuggle Bear Den Community - Crafty Paws Dryer Sheets Box Mission

My most recent mission for Snuggle Bear Den was to create an original, holiday themed craft. For those of you that don’t know me personally, I absolutely love a creative ‘n’ crafty challenge! 

I was so excited about creating an original craft that I got a little ahead of myself. I had made a darling couch for my daughters Barbie & Sisters Dolls using my #freesample from #teamsnuggle . Once I completed my first project and logged onto submit my photos, I had realized that my mission was to make an original, “holiday themed” craft. It was supposed to contain both aspects, not just be original. Oops!

It was all good though! I was having such a blast doing my #craftypaws mission, that I raided my own personal stash of Snuggle Dryer sheets and ran off with the box to make my “original holiday themed” project that I was supposed to do to begin with, lol. 

With Valentines Day coming up, I had the perfect idea for my “ #craftypaws “.  I was going to make a Mail box for the Valentines my little one will be receiving on this occasion. This was not an easy task, and it got quite messy. However, I’m quite pleased with myself for the way it turned out... Maybe one day, when I’m feeling ambitious, I will create a turorial for how I conquered this project.  Without further adieu, here are some pictures of my final product.

Playskool Friends My Little Pony Mission

WooHoo! We had a Blast participating in Playskool Friends My Little Pony Mission!  For this mission we received our free sample of 'Playskool Friends My Little Pony Figure Two-Pack with Applejack and Daisy Dreams' and 'Playskool Friends My Little Pony Rainbow Dash Friendship Bus' from Crowdtap.  As you can tell, my daughter was stoked. She absolutely loves My Little Pony (she has the accessories and toys to back it up, lol!) and she did not see this one coming. I wish I had caught her reaction on video! It went something like this: 

“ Shakes with excitement & gasps. Ponies! Rainbow dash, Apple and Pinkie Pie. Open Mommy!!!!! Pleeeeease!!!!! “

Since receiving her Ponies, she has played with them for hours on end and even took them in the bath and to bed with her. When I explained that we could take them to her friends to share...well, you guessed it. She was “jumping” for joy because I was letting her leave the house with all of them (to give y’all a little history, we implement a 1 toy rule, meaning that when we leave the house she is allowed to bring one toy only!) I love her little reactions such as these.  The fact that she got to play with her friends was a bonus! Her two favorite things came true!

The ponies themselves are a perfect fit for her (and her friends) little hands, are good quality and durable too.  Thanks for making one Happy Camper Playskool & Crowdtap! We will most certainly be purchasing the other ponies, in the future so that she will have more to share and can own the complete set :)  Oh Happy Days!

Here’s a previous mission that I did for crowdtap, that I thought deserved some credit! (unfortunately I was delayed with my posts due to the holidays) Fast Acting Advil® 

Now, I’m normally a Tylenol gal when it comes to my aches and pains, but lately I’ve been feeling like I’ve been needing something more when it comes to treating them. The Tylenol just wasn’t cutting it! I was suffering with the pains in my neck (from an old injury) for some time when I came across the Advil crowd and saw that I could potentially qualify for a sampling mission :) 

When it comes to Advil, I’m no stranger. In my high school and early college years I was a huge fan of their Advil® Liqui-Gels®. Until my physician recommended that I switch off of it (due to a medical condition I had at the time). With that being said and in my defense, I had to give up a lot of things “cold turkey” as a way to find out the cause of my medical condition was. It was a challenging time for me. Hence why I had been using Tylenol, rather the store brand of Tylenol since.  

I figured I was due for a change ;) Within 20 minutes (or less) of testing my sample of Fast Acting Advil® I felt a difference. My pain was gone, and I felt that I had more mobility (aka. it was easier to turn my head). That was with only taking one Fast Acting Advil® tablet. I was impressed to say the least! I thought that you could only get this type of quality with liquid capsules, man was I wrong! 

Since that faithful day that Advil® came back into my life (lol) I’ve been recommending it to others. I have shared some of my samples with my hubby, In-laws and other family members. The rest will be/are stored in my purse, car, pantry and medicine cabinet. Once those are gone, I will most certainly purchase this product again.
