For nearly 25 years I have been promising myself a Porsche, When I eventually get to start believing I can earn the money ( enough money, They are Not cheap!) to go book a test drive, only to singularly fail to get my arse in the car... worse, to end up slumping on the floor like an upended Tortoise... #5XltoMedium, is the Rollercoaster ride of the last three years. Three years of establishing good habits Three years of getting honest WITH MYSELF Three years of Work... ON TOP OF WORK. I get asked, A LOT, was it worth it. 1) yes 2) To be slim for my daughters wedding Yes 3)To be slim and enjoy time with my wife YES 4) TO meet my grandson HELL YES 5) To truly enjoy family time YES 6) To eventually get my arse in that Porsche and believe I can own one... A Really proud moment... After weigh in I changed into a pair of 32 inch waist jeans... jeans I bought 27 years ago... Where will my journey take me next... Just to confirm my Non scale victory for this week. I have not been able to wear a wedding ring for over 25 years... This ring also has my memories of my father anchored to it now... following the sale of his piano I really need to say Thankyou to Toni and to #Slimmingworld for getting me to this point. Look folks if you do the work... if you stick to the plan. You WILL lose weight. It is inevitable... I have said this before... and I know it may seem harsh But seriously There are only 2 reasons that you are NOT getting the results 1) You are not sticking to the plan... or... 2) You are lying to yourself about sticking to the plan. I am so happy this week... I may not be AT TARGET ... But I am on track... and .... after Diane's challenge tonight... I will be at TARGET in 2 Weeks. Again ... Thankyou Toni ...
