TRANSFORMATION . Feeling motivated! The photo on the right is when I was right into my fitness and I'm getting there now with ! . 💛 I'm 5ft 4. In June 2017 I joined slimming world weighing 12st 4, hitting my first target in June 2018 of 9 stone 7lb. I stayed there for 9 months before lowering it a further 1 stone, and reaching my new target weight 3 months later. I've been at this same weight now for 2 years at my target of 8st 8lb. . Don’t ever doubt your ability to change. We can get stuck in ruts and also get into a mental space where we think any kind of change is impossible. Change for some reason makes us think it’s a singular moment where everything turns around. That’s fundamentally not true. The only reason I am here today is because of small Incremental Changes and Small Choices consistently over time. Change isnt a single moment but many moments of little changes put together. Hopefully mentally that could help some of us out there. Knowing that it’s small steps and not grand decisions that help change the narrative. Are people at all interested?
I might start logging a food diary sort of thing - I’ve been asked a few times about how I’ve lost weight/is it sustainable - that sort of thing...it’s slimming world so it’s not tiny amounts - it’s all good yummy food.
Would anyone be at all interested in more food posts?
It's revision time for me! It is going to be a tough day and I need to keep my energy and concentration up. Let's have a full breakfast with good things to keep it up for hours. Bananas (potassium and carbs), mangos(vitamin C an A) spreaded cashew butter (protein to fill up my energy), strawberries, clementines, apricots, avocado (antioxidant), chia seed and flaxseed seed (fat omega 3). Et Voilà! C'est l'heure des révisions, et pour avoir de l'énergie et une bonne concentration j'ai besoin d'un petit déjeuner bien complet. Banane ( potassium et Carbs) et mangue tartinées de beurre de noix de cajou (protéine pour garder un bon niveau d'énergie), des fruits et un avocat (antioxydant et sucre naturel pour l'énergie) et graine de chia et graine de lin (acide gras et oméga 3). ** Midweek Motivation **
Stumbled across this cute little reminder on Pinterest this evening and it had me thinking.
We’re so, so quick to criticise ourselves and dwell on all the things we have done wrong, but what about all of the things we have done right?
Even if it’s something as simple as doing 10,000 steps today, or drinking 2 litres of water. Something so simple is an achievement and gets us closer to where we want to be, but we just don’t realise it. In the long run, all of these little things add up.
My tiny victory today was that I haven’t snacked inbetween meals whatsoever, even though I’d kill someone for a bite of chocolate right now, but there’s none in the house so I’ll have to do without.

Weigh in: 1st May 2017
Today I weighed in at 8st 4.5lb (116.5lb) which means I’ve lost 1lb over the last week and I’ve lost 1st 2.5lb in total since October. I’ve now lost those stupid 3.5lbs I put on over easter and I still have plenty of time to get to target before my holiday in June 😊 regular exercise will resume when I stop feeling like death, I have a virtus and it is not cool. Its it acceptable to go to bed before 8pm? 4.5lb to go until I hit my target of 8st! 💪
