1444 and 37! :o
#37 is Tisha Fox, a member of my large family of fox-based shapeshifters who enjoys sea voyages and someday wishes to set out on one of her own. She's biformal, but remains in her primary humanoid form most of the time- so her secondary form serves a mostly aesthetic and familial purpose.
Here are her two moms:
and #1444 is ToyMaker, a mischievous mechanic who makes toys both as weapons and as a fun hobby, hence their name.
They're part of a bat-based species dubbed "the Slinkers" by the villagers they share a town with. Slinkers have the ability to render an organism unconscious with a touch to the forehead, then manifest a realistic meat "costume" that they then use to replace them, at least temporarily. Here's a quick sketch of what I mean:
Most Slinkers use this to terrorize the village by periodically playing transformation-based games, such as seeing how many people they can replace before anyone notices or how long they can impersonate someone until a loved one realizes they're an imposter. Their lives and social hierarchy is ruled by the "points" they earn from each game, and they rarely care about anything else. However, Toymaker refuses to participate and instead spends their time fighting the other Slinkers and protecting the townsfolk. They were also born without a big arm, which activates the knock-out effect and collects dna for the transformation, so they don't share the abilities of their peers.
