Slipway found
As has been reported, archaeologists from the University of Southampton have discovered a slipway from the 18th century in Buckler's Hard, a small hamlet in the New Forest, England, where ships for Lord Nelson's fleet were built and launched. This was a private shipyard that built more than 55 ships, including ships the size of HMS Victory, which was unusual for a private shipyard at that time. Excavations are still ongoing, so let's see what else is found.
