I’m not sure what’s more sad about the White Star:

That he was beaten by a man who hadn’t even been in the same world as him three years ago

That he was beaten by said man while being a thousand year old himself

That he was beaten by said man in said man’s body (iykyk)

That he accidentally delusioned himself into thinking that said man also reincarnated a thousand years like he did just to beat him when in actuality the man just recently figured out he existed

That even despite all the evil bullshit he pulled he unknowingly became a meme

That even at the end he really was just a pawn in the hunters games(those of which Cale is also beating btw)

Feeling so bad for manhwa readers/new novel readers of tcf because genuinely the White Star’s initial introduction was both terrifying and horrifying as hell.Like genuinely the first time i read tcf i was in near tears.Cale freaking out,his pure terror was straight up heartbreaking to me.

And then we have future events occurring and the man straight up turns into a meme

The contrast is enough to give me whiplash
