Would the slitherpit tattoo still be visible in snake form?

Nah. The Mark of the Anacondrai doesn't stay visible on the cultists when they turn into false Anacondrai. The closest to that is the white coloring carrying over in the transformation, but it's unclear if that's because it's paint or if it's become part of the scale coloring. I think it's just cause it's paint.

Tattoos could still be visible on the skin underneath the Anacondrai scales, but you can't exactly remove the scales without damaging the skin and therefore the tattoos, so the tattoos are basically gone.

Not that Kai couldn't still get into Serpentine (Serpenjago? Underjago?) spaces, though. Especially once he becomes an Anacondrai, he has a much easier time accessing underground Serpentine spaces, even though a purple-red Anacondrai would definitely be noticeable to typical Serpentine.

The slither pit entry tattoo is pretty much just for the human (and possibly android) participants, especially those who don't want to identify themselves. It's also a bit of a contract between humans and Serpentine in the Slither Pit. "If you rat on our illegal fight ring, you'll be equally ratting on yourself."

(Now that I think about it, there's probably various Serpentine symbols and tattoos that have various meanings, a bit like Yakuza tattoos)

Ok more Kai and the Slither pit because I have no idea how you guys missed this

This can be pre or post s4

Kai knows a guy

Everytime something shady happens he says “I know a guy”

The others are hesitant to trust this “guy” but the info is good so they don’t mind

Kai (with out the other’s knowledge) sometimes has to do favors for them to keep the intel coming

(Depending on how kid friendly or adult you want this I could be anywhere from acting as a body guard, picking his kids up from school, drug running (the middle man) or throwing a fight for money.)

Other reasons Kai would be there

sometimes Kai just goes back to fight, put on a show, get some cash.

Maybe they have him in a contract he can’t get out of

Or on the darker side, he could be addicted to fighting in the ring. Can’t see a life with out it no matter how badly he wants to leave

Fighters go missing and he goes undercover

Other angst

Some people don’t like him, maybe the made a bad bet and lost them money.

(they - aka they could drug him and kidnap him, just straight up try to kill him,

Fight goes south and he gets banged up bad,

Tries to walk out but they won’t let him, they could threaten him or the team

Tw self destruction and other bad junk

Some times he lets himself get beat up, he can’t do it in the field becuase it’s life or death but here the only consequence is loosing the fight

Might feel like he deserves the pain but doesn’t see it as self destructive
