Yumiko, don’t reach for the coffee.  It has green fumes rising out of it.  Tetsuo, my plumbob would be red if I saw my mom, reach out to grab spoiled coffee.  If I had a plumbob.  Yumiko, stop!

Shane is lounging in pool in the rain.  Really?   You need to get to improve your gardening.  Luckily, the sunroom is inside.

After drinking a few sips of the nasty coffee, Yumiko was still tired and took a nap.  After the nap, she submitted her much edited work to the client and they finally approved.  She has this freelancing gig done.  She rushes to tell Shane the news.

Shane has good news, too.  The nursery is pleased with his work and he should be on the road to another promotion.

Tetsuo does his homework.

How can one sim get the bathtub that dirty?  At least, Yumiko is cleaning up after herself.

Tetsuo is learning how to cook.

He tells his mother he has this cooking thing down.  She will never have to eat out of the trashcan, again.

Tetsuo finds some more ice cream in the freezer.  Hopefully, this ice cream is normal it won’t turn him into a plantsim or make him skinny.

Shane uses his reward points to hire a maid.  Free housekeeping.  The price is right.  After completing the nerd brain aspiration, the least Shane should do is treat himself to a clean house.

Yumiko also enjoys ice cream, knowing it won’t cause any weird side effects.  I’m happy anytime she decides to use the refrigerator to get food, instead of rummaging the trash for semi-edible salad.

Amaya loves the outdoors, so she takes Janae on a date to her favorite park, Desert Bloom.  They talk.

And they talk some more.  Janae is lazy and a slob.  Amaya’s mother is a slob, so that isn’t a deal breaker, but lazy is a red flag.  After dating Olivia, Amaya doesn’t want to settle down with a lazy sim.  All they want to do is sleep.

Amaya and Janae kiss for the first time.  Amaya is young - not everyone she dates needs to be marriage material. Janae is fun and they will take it from there.
