"Sloppy craft" is the prompt today for the #septtextilelove challenge by @seam_collective I had to do some googling for this one as the "sloppy" got me confused as it is not a word I would like to use for my work as to me it springs "doesn't care" to mind. I suppose some slow stitching techniques using unfinished edges could be regarded as "sloppy craft" although I prefer "Rustic". Anyway, perhaps people think my improv patchwork can be regarded as "sloppy craft" as there is no planning and the fabric is just stitched together with no other thought than the colours work together, there is a mix of kids fabrics, recycled, pre loved, different textures, types and just out and out scraps sewn together, quilted and then cut out to make a bag of whatever shape I feel like at the time! #sloppycraft #septtextilelove2022 #patchworkandquilting #improv #improvquilting #madeincornwall https://www.instagram.com/p/CiZybe4scMS/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
