A delicious twist on the classic sloppy joe sandwich inspired by the flavors of a Big Mac, with seasoned ground beef, tangy sauce, shredded lettuce, and melted cheese.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 small onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup ketchup. 2 tbsp yellow mustard. 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 sesame seed hamburger buns, split. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Sliced pickles, for serving.
Instructions: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in ketchup, mustard, relish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Place bottoms of hamburger buns on a baking sheet. Using a slotted spoon, spoon meat mixture onto buns; sprinkle with lettuce and cheese. Replace bun tops. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with sliced pickles. Enjoy your Big Mac Sloppy Joes!
