they held a wriggling human man in their tight grasp, holding him up effortlessly by the neck. he was tired and worn, having been pushed to his limits, nen barely giving any sparks at all. all in all, he’d barely put up a fight. pitou was disappointed, and for that reason, they didn’t feel much like being merciful.
“nyow...” pitou purred, eyes narrowed. “shall we play one more game, human...? if you win, i’ll let you go.”
the man’s eyes bugged out of his head as he gasped like a fish, trying and failing to claw at the monstrous paw gripping him like a vice. “and if-- i lose--?” he croaked.
pitou’s mouth twisted up into a nasty grin, fangs sharp enough to tear open his jugular showing themselves. “if you lose, i will eat you,” they said simply.
the man let out a whimper.
