Hey sooo... Putin stepping down still doesn’t seem like it’s being reported by credible sources and has been denied by the Russian government. Even if he was planning to step down, its probably more like what he’s done in the past where he stopped being the President of Russia due to constitutional limitations on the office but had an ally take that spot while he took a different, also very powerful office for a few years. Like if Trump had 2 terms, a Trump Republican was president after him, and he immediately went from President to Speaker of the House and suddenly the Speaker position became much more powerful, that’s what Putin did.
