Story: 

She was one of Slugstar's loyal warriors.

Slugstar was the first leader of Mireclan, a strict, violent leader. Slugstar had grown annoyed with the other Clans, and sought to scare them off and take their supplies. 

He recruited several of his warriors, who were only just introduced to the code. The warriors of Mireclan attacked the other Clans, but Viperfang had accidentally killed Stonestar's, the first leader of Caveclan, niece. What was once a scare tactic quickly became an all out war. 

Many of Mireclan's most loyal cats perished that day, including Feathers. Starclan was incredibly new to this Clan, it’s only judge being the recently killed Furled-snow, Stonestar’s niece. 

Most of the Mireclan warriors who died that day were not treated with mercy. Over time, the Dark forest began to corrupt those who did not feel remorse, transforming them into monstrous creatures. Feathers, over time, had become afraid of what he was becoming, refusing to allow revenge and hate to control him anymore. This decision halted the gradual transformation, but did not reverse it.

--While some refused to be consumed by the Dark Forest, Slugstar, however let his hate consume him, making him a ghastly figure without any sanity left, slowly consuming him till he is no more.

additional au info: Furled-snow actually cursed all of the Mireclan warriors who died during the first war, so only those cats became monsters, however, most of them either killed each other, or were consumed by the curse.
