CONFRONTING NOTSOBOT

While NotSoBot may be fun, NotSoBot doesn’t just make suicide jokes, it also makes racist jokes too. You probably saw a post about the whole suicide thing, but I haven’t seen a post confronting this yet. Yes, NotSoBot is racist. I have some lovely proof too. (ignore the “ass” nickname, the people in the discord server I’m in decided to rename it that)

Yay, slurs. But anyway, go ahead and add NotSoBot in your server, but I’m warning you, it’s incredibly offensive sometimes, I suggest that you shouldn’t add it.

Yeah I’d say so. For an examples there are slurs for Chinese people in Australia (could be used against other East Asian people too) like “chinks”, for Japanese people “nip”, for East Asians in general “ricer”, for south Asians (like Indians etc) “curry muncher”, for Lebanese and other middle eastern people “lebo”, and for all non-white people in general “wog”, but I’ve never seen any Aussie-Poc reclaim those slurs, like the way I see black US folk reclaim racial slurs. It’s interesting.

Yeah idk 😐. We blacks in America have a very unique history so I suppose that has a lot to do with our views on reclamation.

BTW, if anyone wants to have a civil/unbiased discussion about this, I’m open to it.
