i was merrily minding my business when a realization struck me about ftm john hancock...

OPENED UP MY DOOR. AND JUST STOOD THERE STARING AT ME. SIR??? HELLO??? YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOCK MAN YOU GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK
today's fo4 shenanigans included:
- me accidentally shooting carla's brahmin while fighting some feral ghouls , this was quickly followed by carla shooting me (fair) and me high tailing it out of there
- me stealing something in diamond city , getting caught , getting attacked by everyone , and high tailing it out of there (again)
- upon going to sanctuary , i was promptly shot at by valentine (whether it was because of the carla incident or the diamond city incident , i have no idea) and had to high tail it out of there (again , again)
- i decided to pay the gents at general atomics galleria a visit . bad idea , i backed into a car while a mr. gutsy shot at me and got my legs blown off when the car exploded
- on top of all the negatives , maccready and i took down some gunners on the bridge between general atomics galleria and skylanes flight 1981
- while organizing the nuka colas in my fridge ("if i may , that's a huge waste of time" -my dad) , sturges just kinda ... walked into me , said hey , and left . i giggled like a schoolgirl as he walked away
all in all , great day to be seven (my in-game sole survivor , fittingly named after myself) . i do not think i am capable of making a good decision , thusly my sole survivor is a moron . but it's fun and i enjoy fucking around and finding out .
also i might start posting daily shenanigans updates so the good people of tumblr may witness my mediocrity . somebody please pray for the sole survivor 💀

because my mental illness stops for nothing and this obscure little scrunkly deserves some backstory
his name is kyle (hc courtesy of my beloved)
he's bi and demi
he comes from a big family of traders , he's the oldest of 6 children
building off of that , he never really had much of a hometown as his family traveled from place to place frequently
his skills in punctuality and observation stem from having to help raise his siblings and constantly be on the lookout for danger
his exact age and birthdate are unknown to him , though he knows he was born in the fall
his self-appointed birthday is halloween because it's easy to remember
he enjoys stargazing and despite the dangers , prefers to sleep beneath the stars
his family is fanned out across the northeast , since his parents still travel but he and some of his siblings decided to settle down in different places
he enjoys reading and writing and is the most literate out of his siblings
he loves reading to people , especially kids when he gets the chance . it reminds him of his childhood/adolesence
he's also big into astronomy , sometimes expressing that he wishes he could touch the stars and moon
he keeps in loose contact with his family , occasionally sending out letters discreetly to keep tabs on his loved ones
(piggybacking off of some other hc's i've seen) he used to be a heavy for the railroad but after a traumatic (and near fatal) injury , he's been reduced to runner
he suffers from chronic pain due to this injury but keeps quiet about it , he'd rather that than let some shakiness in his legs take him out of the game
he often gets insanely homesick , to the point of near hysteria . keeping busy and being on the move help him fight off that sadness
he's close with everyone at hq and would consider them all to be his friends
he's closest with glory and deacon
he sometimes snitches on them to carrington when they're concealing minor injuries or other ailments . he does it out of care and concern , as he'd hate to watch anyone else (especially those two) be confined to his same fate
he cries a lot , but only really in secret . sometimes he thinks if he didn't let it out , he'd just die
he's open about his problems and doesn't shy away from expressing his emotions , but sometimes that vulnerability makes him feel weak
he only cries in secret because the feeling of dread and weakness that comes with it freaks him out
his favorite color is a light sunny yellow because it reminds him of the stars
he's incredibly allergic to dogs and cats but loves them anyways , his family had a cat named quantum when he was a kid
sometimes when his pain gets bad , he kind of hobbles and limps . if he's trying to hide it , he'll subtly wince and grind his teeth while walking relatively normally
he has a really nice laugh , it's very warm
