Far worse than a child with no supervision is a child with incompetent supervision. Rotom Dex is not a good babysitter and should never be left alone with your child.

I have to remind myself that Ash is ten and therefore it’s reasonable for him not to know how to do laundry or cook yet. (Also this is a Japanese show and I think it’s pretty unusual in Japan for even older kids to cook for themselves? Don’t quote me on that.) Considering how his mom dotes on him when he’s home and that he’s always had Brock, Cilan, or Clemont to do all the cooking, it’s not surprising. But, God, please, Kukui, teach this kid about raw meat and buy him some basic sandwich supplies at least if you’re gonna leave him home alone.
